After accelerating thousands of heart beats by her splendid performance in Sunshine Productions' "Karol Bagh", Smriti Kalra is all set to make her come back in Channel V's upcoming daily soap, "Suvreen Guggal" which is to be aired from 19th March 2012.
Smriti has indeed lost weight and when asked about it, she feels that she has not lost weight. It was how she really looked. She had infact gained weight during her days in "Karol Bagh".
Her character in the show is of a girl who happens to be the topper in her standard 12 board examinations, an exciting, chirpy and enthusiastic girl from Nainital who loves to play guitar, drives a scooter and at the same time is a little goofy.
Smriti actually feels that she can very much relate herself to her character. Like the girl in the show, she is also a happy-go-lucky and fun loving girl who lives her life to the fullest.
She feels fortunate to share the set with actors like Meeta Vashisth and Akshay Anand and had a wonderful time working for the show. She had always been supported by her family and Smriti feels happy on being remembered by her old team mates on the sets of "Karol Bagh".
When asked which character was closest to her heart she felt as if she was asked a real tough question. Her role in 'Karol Bagh was of a person, who always had to cry and here she could be her real self. She could not come to a conclusion on the question.
She does not feels that it is unfair for a serial like this which is not flicked on GECs. She has always given her best in whatever role she had played and she hopes that this will be a thrilling experience.
We hope you win many more hearts Smriti!
