GC, this is not an OS. It is a lightening the strike of which is blissful even to the dead cells of sole. Very emotional, very beautiful and very powerful. Uloopi is certainly the strongest woman in MBh but neglected always for unknown reasons (or vested interests??). The narration of her emotions is felt like raindrops falling on silent dry leaves scattered all over the dark floor of thick woods. And with the certainty of tides returning to sea-shore, Arjuna found her again in his life. Can't say any more. Overlook my comparisons. That is how I perceive things.😆

Thank you Jamy. Yes, I do think she was one of the strongest women in the epic, but among the most neglected as well. I am not repeating all that I said about her here, but you know my views on her. And I do not intend to overlook your beautifully poetic comparisons!! 😳 😉 😆

wow Geetha ma very descriptive and you gave voice to Uloopi's feelings so beautifully.its emotional as well.. if you think she just had him for one night.. was it only physical attraction that she felt for him.. ? I could see devotion for entire life.. and that certainly is far above physical attraction.. May be she wanted that night..so that she could have his son for lifetime... she knew she could not have him.. yet his memories could remain with her forever with their son..

Yes, Riti... In the epic, it is an one night stand and she is shown as having desired him. But the fact remains that she gave birth to his son, did not dump him in a river and did not find another hubby. She lost her son in the war and yet remained devoted to Arjuna. And in the end, he accepted her as his wife and took her with him to Hastinapura. That is devotion of no uncommon order and is certainly not based simply on physical attraction either.
Thank you for reading and commenting. 🤗
