Thanks for the comments, everyone.
It seems to me that now no one has anything to discuss about the "tragedy" of Karna.😆 Don't worry. I myself had felt the same when I first read Poetics.😉

It took me three days to complete it!😳
Waah what a post! *claps* very sorted nd informative! *claps* As far as Karna's tragedy goes, he is tragic hero!

*FLASBACK*

I remember asking same thing to my Nanu who ws then reading MB every morning to us... ofcourse as I ws curious that Why Karna must be called tragic hero when some personalities like Gopi bahu who suffers so much aren't called tragic bahus plus we wanted to taunt nd joke on the mahilas of my house who watched that show?😛 nd then he said that the one's whose downfall began when he actually understands abt his mistakes when he is at the peak of success is a tragic person,nd if he doesn't allow his self to get doomed despite of nything that may take him out of the avalanche he is suffering he becomes a hero! Nd those personalities like Gopi bahus never can be tragic cos they r never wrong😲😆

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

nyways this post really added to my poetic knowledge I guess😳 But man tremendous efforts... Truly appreciable🤗... U shud have been a language teacher like ur Mom😛

Nah Sanzi, you are mistaken.😈 Only Gopi bahus are real tragedies. Because they don't have peaceful, happy life. Karna had a peaceful family life. So he is nowhere tragic. Logic doesn't support him being tragic.

Since being a Tragic hero doesn't require an unhappy family life...😉

Brilliant post 👏👏👏
Karna fits this label perfectly. If his circumstances had been a tad different, or the Pandavas extended a hand of friendship instead of Duryodhan, then the Mahabharat scenario would have occured in a more dharmic manner and he would have been reigning as King on the throne as he is the first Kaunteya. I actually allude most of the characters like Devrath (Bhisma Pitamah), Dronacharya etc. too as tragic heroes as it is their circumstances and promises that made them side with the wrong people. Even in some sense, Shakuni was the mastermind behind Mahabharat. If he did not wanna avenge his sister having to marry a blind man, and brainwash his nephews, Mahabharat would not even occur. Even he is somewhat a tragic hero in that sense.
