TFS! Haven't seen her in razia sultan but looking forward to draupadi's entry. I hope they do not show her as a vamp. Like lord krishna is being shown as neutral and quite positive, i want the same with her to. Of course, she did call karn a 'soota' and i want it to be shown just as it happened- nothing less and nothing more. I like draupadi as a character and she is one of my favourites, but only after arjun.😳I often wonder how difficult her life would have been as a woman, sharing her love between her 5 husbands, then her humiliation, long years in the forest and then losing all her 5 sons and her brother and father too in the great war. Her life was full of hardships and yet she stood up against them and faced every situation with courage and determination. Hats off to this amazing woman! 👏⭐️

I am afraid about what Sid T & the creative team will do.
They scattered so much, that I am afraid.
No ordinary human beings are perfect.So, its not possible to show perfect characters.
Anyway, all the best to the actress & the whole team.
Hope they do something better.

I am liking the choice of actress...But it really baffles me to see that the article highlights the actress less n the 'insult' more. It seems as if they are making her come to the show so that she can insult Karna...
Anyway not much expectations from the CVs...

We have complained a lot about Bhoot-Pisach...I hope they keep her dialogues to
'Na aham varayami sootam' n dont exceed it to gain sympathy for Karna...
Everyone knows wat she had said in the epic...so there is no need to make her dialogues extra harsh to portray her as a 'strong woman'...

I hope they keep her like she was...beautiful, straight-forward, extremely learned, proud, egoistic n intelligent.
There's a thin line between 'pride' n 'arrogance'...I hope THIS TIME, the CVs will learn it n not make her scream n yell at Karna, Kunti, Gandhari, Subhadra n even the Pandavas like they did in Star Plus' Mahabharat.
Nor do I want any overglorification like 'Yeh kanya Aryavrat ka bhagya hain'...etc.

this is the story of Mb from other side...in Mb we have seen karna-dury as negative...now they hv change the side of the coin ...as karna was from kaurav side...it is expected they will show the story from opposite side...and there is nothing wrong in that...ram ke liye agar ravan enemy hain tho ravan ke liye tho ram hi enemy Hua na...tho main jab ravanbke upar kahani likha jayenge tab ram ko thorai na hero dhikhayenge!!!!...

Makers till now hv not shown any pandavas side character as villain and I am sure they will not show drau as vamp...in Mb Karna was arrogant and jealous...so obviously in spk drau will be proud...now arrogacy ,jealousy pride all are human characters...any body having that is very much human being...but yes if anybody only want to see a fully whitewashed drau then he/she obviously do not watch the show...

bold- Well said. But you see there is one BIG problem. When it comes to the Pandavas n Karna, people accept these rraits as mere 'human flaws'. But when it comes to Draupadi these same flaws become BIG crimes to the same people...
Selective judgement I guess... 😭

The CVs will not DARE to malign Lord Krishna on national television even if He had killed Karna himself with his owb hands. That is because He is God. So the CVs would not do that n incur wrath of religious organizations.
So...Lord Krishna's portrayal does not guarantee Draupadi to be portayed correctly.
I am surprised with the positive portrayal of the Pandavas...but I dont think the same generosity would be extended to their wife...Courtesy: Star Plus' Mahabharat. 😆

And if I am not mistaken then there were some movies made on Karna in South Indian languages where Draupadi was portrayed as a vamp. I have not seen them...so I would not comment without knowing completely.
But I have heard of the portrayal...may be someone can verify.

As for being portrayed as a vamp...well...they may not portray her as 'villain' but they will certainly portray her in such a way that in the end, novice viewers will have a bitter taste of Draupadi n believe that she caused the war.
THAT is precisely wat I oppose...
They may not show her as an outright negative character but they will probably make her someone with whom few people will relate...n most will dislike. Best example of that portrayal is BR Chopra's portrayal of Panchali.

And I agree with u...Karna and Draupadi are very similar. Their lives are different...their actions are different...their sufferings are different...yet their basic traits are similar... 😊 thus making them two of the most sought afterccharacters of the epic after Lord Krishna...
I hope the CVs realize this n show both as great yet flawed humans...n stop this blackwashing n whitewashing.
