I do not get one thing. Agar mahabharat hi banana tha toh why did they make this show in the first place? If they wanted to make it on karn then they dhould show a proper story of karna and not all this nonsense.

Yes,it does happen with first wives in most shows. But not always,maharana pratap always loved his first wife ajabde more. 😳 In reality as well as in the show.I love PrAja!
But there also,they changed the entire history into total rubbish and the show ended abruptly. 😡
Will give siya ke ram a try then. Although i feel they will surely show lots of distortions there too.
Ya,me too excited to watch both dilwale and bajirao mastani. And i heard that priyanka rocked and even overshadowed deepika.

Yes...even I have read that Maharana Pratap had 11wives but noone could take Ajabde's place...

There are controversies regarding Jodha-Akbar as well...There are many historians who believe that Akbar loved Ruqaiyya most n not Heer Kunwar/Jodha as shown in the serial...
Jodha came into the forefront only after she gave birth to Salim while Ruqaiyya remained childless...
But that is a very very very very controversial topic n reminds me of Ardi n ArSu fanwars...so I am not gonna comment.

Ya I was reading Bajirao Mastani's reviews...n everybody seems to love Kashi more than Mastani...
The Deepika fan in me is disappointed but the first-wife rooter in me is happy... 😳

Yes, he loved ajabde the most. Ya,you are right and we cannot say which theory is right because not much is said about their personal lives in books or scripts.
I always felt arjuna loved subhadra more but both ardi and arsu are special in different ways.
Both deepika and priyanka are brilliant actors and we can only decide after watching the film.
PS-Amrita, i found your story on karna-drau a few days back. I just randomely opened IF and somehow reached that pg! 😛 But only could read some part of it. But it was really amazing.The concept was so unique and awesome. I am not getting time to read the stories or updates because my exams are going on but i will read it whenever i get some extra free time and review too.

Honestly I too believed the same about Arjun but realized how wrong I was after reading the epic.
Arjun may have loved Draupadi or Chitrangada or Subhadra the most...who knows?
Most of the assumptions are based on our favouritism...n to be honest there are enough folktales to support every possibility...
So all those who CLAIM that Arjun loved any one of his wives the most...do so mainly out of blind fandom.
Bcoz Ved Vyas never made Arjun say who he loved the most.
We are all free to believe watever we want...😊

As for Draupadi...I believed that she loved Arjun the most bcoz of the innumerable incidents clearly mentioned in the epic n not bcoz of my fandom...but now I have learnt that most of those citations are either mistranslations or later additions.
Though I admit...I will ALWAYS love Ardi...but my love doesnt change the truth...
And the truth indicates that MAY BE...Ardi did not exist at all...
Probably the whole polyandry is an interpolation...or atleast Draupadi's so-called extra love for Arjun is an interpolation. 😭
But that is a different topic n not related to a show on Karna...so I'll not talk more of that here...😊

As for my Karna-Draupadi OS...thanks a lot... 😊
I wanted to bring the two most controversial characters together WITHOUT any scandalous angle...keeping their character sketch closer to the epic...
I know it is long...so please take your time to read it...

The main issue with this serial is that its the same production house as starbharat so their distorted view of character and events remain the same

Karna being more pro pandav

Drau's over reaction at her division and pandavas ready to take sanyas instead of marrying her😆

People not accepting Pandav Drau marriage

and now on top of that they are adding new distortions like Karna and Arjuna fighting to decide who should be the King

If it was a different PH at least we would have seen different set of distortions
