Menka tells Viresh about Sams drug problem.Vi is about to leave.She requests to him not to get angry at Sam cause he is a kid and that Vis guidance,patience ,and support can help him out of the mess.She requests Vi not to tell Su too cause she is very sensitive and wont be able to handle it.
Vi calls out for Sam and Menka follows him and tries to stop him.Vi prevents her from talking any further.He qns Sam about why he doesn't share the problems with him..Sam is scared and it turns out Viresh is mentioning just about the car accident…Sam is tells him that he was scared that he will get scolded..Vi is very calm with Sam and asks him to discuss any kind of problem with his father and asks him to come to work at the office after college.Sam is happy and so is Sujata..Vi tells Sujata that parents have to be calm and patient with the kids.Menka is happy that Viresh listened to her words.
Menka is recovering and Vi is cordial with her regarding work .Menka is all well and she bids good bye to all personally except Vi and thanks sujata for taking care of her .Jatin is present .Vi looks either upset or something else(I couldn't make out Amans expression)
Sam is trying to control himself from taking drugs …He gets a packet but remembers his promise to Menka and throws it away.He realizes that someone may find it and searches for it in vain..Su comes and and is ready to help him but Sam tells her its isn't important and leaves.Su finds the packet and takes it to Roshni. She lies to that she got in from her garden and is shocked to learn that it is a drug from Ro.Su tells Ro the truth that she got it from Sams room.Su is in denial but Ro asks her to ask Sam the truth before he gets into the habit of taking it…
Su asks Sam whether he was searching for the packet..Sam lies but gets cvaught..Su is devastated and angry.Su asks him first drinking problem and now drugs and that she always protected him thinking that he will correct himself cause of his good upbringing.She slaps and beats him and tells that he killed all her vishwaas and confidence (Indrani awesome in the scene ).She tells that she is embarrassed of herself cause she couldn't bring up a sanskari child.She gets up and beats him again and faints..Sam is in tears and tells her that he will leave the habit and pleads her to open the eyes..
Morning..
Sam is downstairs and Vi wants to talk to him.Vi tells that he has to give Sam some money and wants him to pay someone.Sam says that he wont be able to make it cause he has to go to hospital.Su interferes and they make up and excuse of visiting some person and the hospital.Vi asks him to come to office after that.
At the hospital ,the Dr assures Sam and Su that Sam can get rid of the habit and lead a content happy life with the support of his parents..Sam says that he is ready for any kind of treatment and will fulfill the promise he gave his mom and reassures Su.
Sam is at Vi office and working.Vi asks him deliver an envelope with money.Sam leaves..Menka and Vi follows..Sam reaches in front of a building and stops.Vi tells Menka that Sam is exactly going to the place where Vi had sent him to and that he wont break the promise and that they neednt follow him as Menka suggested..Menka is happy for Sam. But Sam stops midway .
Sam drives away with the money.Menka and Vi is panicks follows him.Sam reaches the drug dealers house and get a packet.Vi tells Menka that she is right about Sam and wants to confront him.Menka stops him.Sam goes to a corner and is about to take the drug and rmembers sujata fainting and his promise to his mom.and throws it away.Menka –Vi are happy that he kept his promise…They hide in a corner to get out of sams sight and are close and stares at each other..EPI ends
