Barbie is wearing such ausome dresses since her wedding.But Suhaani never got to wear such pretty attires,she was always in ill fitting and outdated dresses.why?????

Just to make her look awful.

That was the requirement of her look... There's no partiality... Suhani never wishes to wear expensive dresses... She is always happy to stay simple..

I don't know why creatives of this show have this notion that

Simple = Hideous.

She got the ugliest possible clothes but she managed to carry off most of them... Simple can be pleasing/classy too... but they go out of the way dressing her up tastelessly in the name of simplicity.

I agree with u Prathamesh it's requirement for her role bt they can show simplicity in much better way with simple outfit than those outfit which they gave for long time in the show...

Actually SSEL concept is to prove beauty lies in nature of person bt not in artificial beauty of face which get by using creams & cosmetics...so they can show her in simple way much better in every angle there is no need to show Suhani in more pathetic way by that way of dressing & makeup...
