Once again the only reason all this stings fans is the lack of perspective and logic from the writers. If Yuvis character is that of someone who gets swept away by the storm and is not emotionally strong enough to resist getting caught up in other peoples decisions about his life..fine...but even with such a character the speed at which all this remarrying takes place can not be explained by his weak nature. The way they have written this track...I do not see his marrying Barbie because of helplessness it seems more like he is just lazy...I love her...I miss her...Where is she...am crying for her...as long as I do not really have to do anything serious about it...infact...not just Yuvi...the whole of Suhani's family and how they are potrayed in this track is beyond wrong...it is just to simplistic to try and convince us that they all just accepted her death and a new person taking her place in a matter of days without even puting up some kind of resistance. If some months had gone by and hope slowly died fine...but we ate talking a matter of days...no f**king way.
The storylines annoying as we might find some of them can work and can be interesting if they are done right.
I would have felt more for Yuvi if he had actually struggled with all this...if he was actually helpless and had to marry her..or was put in a situation by Barbie where he felt like he had no choice but marry her for the sake of his and Suhani's child...(not that he has any connection to this baby since his only reason for keeping it according to the writers is because Suhani wanted the baby...nothing about the baby being the last piece of Suhani which would have been a stronger reason for him wanting the baby at all costs )...but all we got was a two day search...a two day pregnancy...then marriage...it is the lack of follow through that makes Yuvis character hard to sympathise with...he is educated he runs a business for godssake...how can you convince us that he agreed to marry his serrogate just because she threatened to abort the baby... without once consulting thier lawyer.
I do not expect perfection and I am willing to overlook alot of flaws in this show because I love it...well I used to love it now its becoming like that annoying idiot relative...you have to put up with them because they are family and you are stuck with them so you might as well just love them however stupid and annoying as they might be.
My only wish now is for Suhani to come back militant and mean as hell (not evil but just not the doormat)... take them all to task for forgetting her so easily...and Yuvi should pay the most for his weak love. Lol am dreaming... am sure CVs will find another game or competion to make everything better and they will all hold hands and sing Kumbaya...
Really good post. That's exactly what we have been breaking our heads over. The track aka Suhanis loss is a good one. A really good one infact. But the reactions to such an earth shattering event... that's what disturbs me here. Dadi being a bitch is expected, I mean she would rather have a murderer as her beloved grandsons wife, but not Suhani. That witch has lost it totally and completely...
But look at the people who supposedly love her. I understand moving on, I understand maddening grief... but I don't understand this. I'm giving you her place in my life, we are giving you our son, thanks for marrying my bro in law... what kind of idiotic writing is this??? Are these people for real?? Poor Suhani...these are her cherished relationships, who wait for all of 3 days to replace her in their lives.
I'm afraid the worst thing is even after she comes back... unless That plastic woman goes to jail or something, all these losers are going to stick by this idiotic decision ( except maybe prats) Yuvraj may be shell shocked , rant, rave, cry, regret his choice/decision/majboori whatever the hell it was and then go back to his usual state of suspended animation. Until Plastica is proved to be a cold blooded killer, he will stick by her out of some misguided sense of duty or whatever. He doesn't have the guts/ gumption or the strength to break all conventions and go after the so called love of his life. I don't think aisa pyar karna aata bhi hai Yuvraj ko.
And her family... I don't even want to comment on that lot and waste time and space.
It's truly bad that every relationship in Suhanis life has let her down. She better come back all guns blazing, wipe that plastica out of Birla house and take her idiotic family to task for their ineptitude and stupidity.
But maybe I'm expecting too much from our uncreatives here...
