Yes, I loved Pankaj, I loved all he said, I loved his delivery, which was strong and neither rude nor lacking getting his point across. However, I wish he had also added that the witch particularly went to visit him in jail and pushed him over the edge re his suicide bid. I want to see how Suhani reacts to that. And Yuvraj.
But Suhani? She came to BH after everything and hugged psycho, forgave her (like we'd expected), bad enough. Any real person would have a great deal of anger over what that girl did, but since she was going off to some supposed rehab (oh God, she's coming back?) we have to grit our teeth and bear it. But as if it wasn't enough that she didn't talk of leaving on her own volition, she didn't even look particularly like she wanted to leave when Pankaj said his bit. Once again BQ blamed and insulted her, she's seen the result of where that hatred led--her beloved father rotting in jail on a trumped-up molestation charge, driven to attempt suicide--but she's willing to stay? Has she forgotten the slap? Has the forgotten the insults heaped on her father? Has she forgotten he almost DIED? Shame on you, Suhani.
And Bhavna, cut in Lata's mould, she looked aghast at he thought of leaving BH. And all the talk of how Pankaj's daughters worked so hard to save him? Not. It was Suhani --along with Yuvraj--who did everything. Bhavna stayed and catered to BH and comforted her crying mommy. She overheard dadi talking of manufacturing evidence, but all she did was tell Suhani. She didn't even go to get Pankaj released. I don't have any beef with Bhavna, just setting the record straight.
And sorry, du, whoever was impressed by Yuvraj. He seemed to lack fire in his attempt to stop her. The hand grabbing did nothing for me. This may hurt many of you, but through most of this track, even as he supported Su, he's been in best-friend mode, not acting like her husband. There has been not an iota of showing him missing her or feeling her pain. What he has shown is that he trusted Pankaj and he was sorry about what Suhani and her family were going through, but above all, he wanted psych's ''real'' culprit caught. His passion only came through when Suhani got psych to confess, and it was directed at accusing Suhani. That too I could let go as an aberration, but where was even the hint of feeling sorry? But I know, the writers are blatant mcps, and prolly think it's fine. Where is his anger at BQ? Why is what she did barely mentioned?
And whoever said Lata finally spoke up today, let me correct you. Lata's first comment was to the tune of 'It's all over now, why say all this.' After all, being married comes first. Addressing humiliation and wrongdoing is a far second. So, again, I differ. I was not particularly impressed with her telling Pratima would anyone like their daughters being repeatedly humiliated, but small mercies, I guess.
Saurabh and Sharad may not have done much, but somehow come through seeming halfway sensible and right in their responses.
Pratima. To me she partly redeemed herself in the episode I didn't watch, where she told BQ SHE is responsible for psycho's state. Especially since everyone seems to have forgotten to talk about the poison BQ and her cohorts, including Loots, had been dripping into psych's ears. In yesterday's episode, I mostly liked Pratima's reactions and words, but the last bit was quite out of character. It was a great dialogue, I applaud the words, but it was out of character. The only thing that gets me to accept it was that once before, at the time Suhani was to marry Rohan, she has forgotten her selfishness and actually advised Suhani to do something that was supposedly right for Su, rather than for Yuvraj.
And Suhani, why ask Pratima of all people? Your father is the person you most respect, your love for Yuvraj is pulling at you to stay and continue being a doormat, and you ask advice from Pratima? (I was looking at Lata in the background, relegated to bystander while her daughter asked advice from her mother-in-law. NOT that I think Lata is at all the right person to ask.) Is it that like Yuvraj once asked Pratima why she hadn't asked him to bring Su back, Suhani was hoping for Pratima to stop her?
I do NOT want BQ to bring the girls back. It is ridiculous and total BS. After everything, what sense does it make for Yuvraj to mouth those words?
