W*F did I see he just put sindoor in her head and he is married. I dnt understand why he is thought to be married to sharad just coz he put sindoor in her head. Please explain.

it's like that in these TV shows...they make a huge deal of the sindhoor part...I've seen it in other serials too even long running ones like Balika vadhu...I'm not Hindu so IDK if this is the belief held by some or it's just in these shows

In reality, as far as I know, it's 7 phere that is important for marriage, not sindoor. Sindoor and Mangalsutra are symbols (like wedding rings) The 7 phere are the Vows, which are most important. But these serials make a big deal out of this Sinddor part, I don't know why.

Lawfully and ritually, they are still not married.😆

I actually asked my mom about the whole sindoor thing and she said that when you apply sindoor from a mandir (or one that is used for God).. It is considered holy, therefore people with orthodox beliefs count that holy sindoor as a huge commitment. And in this case, to make it even more of a big deal, it was done with outsiders, so now the symbolism of the sindoor becomes more important (to appease society).
