SP lost it's Numero Uno position to Colours. This is a desperate bid to restore numbers.

More destruction of content and above all, ruthless slavery for actors and crew. I feel bad for all shows - their cast & crew.

I agree with du and Ray. How can these actors, the main ones, at least, work longer hours? Surely they can't be expected to sacrifice their weekly day off? Which means either tired actors or pushing in more fillers--Rakhi, Radhe, RagsMen, all because SP is autocratic and finds no better way to beat Colors. This may be fun for viewers, but spare a thought for the people who have to work overtime--crew included.

It means Bhavna;s & Kriya's tracks will receive a lot of screen time ...and yes , fillers.

you're absolutely right. I was afraid that everyone here would be so happy about seeing SSEL 7 days a week that they wouldn't realize how tough it is on the cast and crew.

Glad that I was wrong. This is disgraceful. I'm so fed up with this daily soap format and capitalistic-minded CVs. I hope one of these days India also adopts the 20-weekly-episodes format that Pakistan currently has. It's not perfect, but at least they don't force actors and crew to work like slaves. Also, they don't have as much filler because they have a limited amount of time to tell their story in.

As you said, quality's going to take a dive. All this means is that things are going to get dragged out that much longer. Upsetting.
