I'm not sure why everyone has so much complaints about suhani's looks. I think she looks fine, girl next door look. I don't like her in anarkali's but in churridar kameez she looks fine. There's nothing wrong with having a little fat on her, which is hardly anything actually imo. Its what makes her so relatable. Most of us are far from being a size zero!! I used to love watching ugly Betty. It's nice to watch someone be the protagonist who isn't absolutely flawless. Anyway I have no such complaints :)
I totally agree with the above statement. I have had enough of everybody ranting on endlessly about Rajshri's weight. Calling her "fat" is like calling the majority of the female population in the world "fat". đĄI am pretty sure very few of us average women are actually what can be considered truly "slim & fit" and anything near "supermodel material".đ Rajshri/Suhani has a few extra pounds on her and only some parts of her body have become a little unsightly of late (face, stomach)...I'm sure she has a valid reason behind this slight weight gain (stress from long working hours, unhealthy diet, no time for exercise, hormonal imbalances, among many others). But she is nowhere near obese/overweight and she can in no way, be considered "round". And it's not necessary for us to be alarmed by her current "condition" (huh...as if gaining a few pounds is the worst thing that can happen in a girl's life and there aren't any bigger problems that can surpass this horrendous predicament!)...she'll realize this fact herself, when she gets some time to actually breathe and she herself will take steps to get fitter. đł
I have suffered from a chronic eating disorder for most of my adolescent life and I know very well what peer pressure and this social disease of "fat shaming" can do to young girls.đ I even went through a period of starving myself and engaging in impossible amounts of physical activity, after going through a major disaster in life, when I started considering myself worthless and foolishly thought that being "slim" would empower me in some way (I became underweight and my immunity was compromised as a result). This unhealthy obsession with being "slim" can be all-consuming and take over your life, as all you can think about is shedding pounds, counting calories and depriving yourself from so many of life's blessings.đđź I acknowledge that maintaining a healthy weight is beneficial for your overall health, but it should only be done so for the sake of inner wellness, rather than focusing on simply "looking good" (an attractive figure is an added benefit, but not the goal itself). A balanced diet and only occasional indulgence in "rich" food, with the addition of regular & moderate exercise is the way to go, in my opinion. đđź
Rajshri...you are a gorgeous girl...both inside and out.â¤ď¸ Don't listen to those who are using objectionable terms and hurtful words to describe you. Your character Suhani is a positive role model for girls, with her strong personality and impeccable values.đ¤ Helping others and keeping everyone happy around her are some qualities which I'm surprised many people forget that she has and these should be her major selling points, rather than say "an itty bitty waist" or "sculpted cheekbones".
But all these harsh truths aside, on a lighter note...I DO want a makeover for Suhani.đ I have displayed my strong stance on "character/personality over looks"...but every woman is entitled to looking her best, simply for her own satisfaction and in Suhani's case, for the pleasure of her dearest ones (Yuvraaj, in particularđ) . I have been expressing my wish to see our beautiful Suhani in something drastically different than the usual boring getup she gets stuck with. I've said time and again in my posts that Rajshri carries off Western/fusion attire really well and if she is dressed in something modern, smart and edgy, this might finally bowl over Yuvraaj...as he himself prefers all things cool and chic.đ As per the current track, our hero has FINALLY fallen for his lady...but it is still apparent that it's more her goodness, innocence, strength, dedication...basically, all inner qualities, that have impressed him. I don't know about the rest of you, but that is NOT enough for me. I want Yuvraaj to fall in love with Suhani ENTIRELY...inside and out...her whole being...every single part of her. I want him to burn in desire for her, be consumed by her fire and worship her like a Goddess, for the rest of his life. That is the kind of love Suhani deserves from Yuvraaj, after all the sacrifices she has made for him.
