I just got a chance to watch the whole episode and all I can say is, Yuvraj seriously needs some therapy. He has virtually no ability to express his emotions in a healthy, productive way.
Let's back things up a bit. Yuvraj is starting to fall for Suhani, and everyone, including the audience, can see that.
He gets the divorce papers in the middle of the beauty pageant. He gets furious and publicly humiliates her. This (kinda) makes sense if he loves her, but there's an important detail that's being forgotten... Yuvraj has neither admitted to Suhani nor even himself that he loves her. How can he possibly expect Suhani to stay in a loveless marriage with him? That's extremely selfish of him. If not the eventual divorce papers, then what did he expect??
Let's explore where Yuvani are at right now: She wants to leave and he doesn't want that, but he still hasn't told her he loves her yet nor has he tried to get intimate with her (while sober, of course) or even mentioned that he wants to eventually take the relationship to the next level. So basically he's expecting Suhani to die in this house with him without giving her even the slightest indication that things will change between them.
What a normal person (someone who has the ability to feel empathy) would have done in this situation is confess his love to Suhani and the problem would be solved. Instead his big head gets in the way and he can't seem to think of anything that's not completely cruel and vindictive.
Why does Yuvraj not seem to realize that Suhani is leaving because she believes there's nothing between them? Why does Yuvraj EXPECT and DEMAND that Suhani to stay in a loveless marriage with him? You shouldn't expect that of anybody.
What is this guy's problem? Either admit that you love her or let her go. It's that simple. If he's too friggin posh to admit he loves an "ugly" girl like Suhani, then he doesn't deserve her or any other girl for that matter.
