SSEL-ites! What's your reason?

Each of us seem to follow/LOVE/LIKE SSEL for a different reason/s!

I think this show has very good actors especially the leads who are young but powerful actors...so that was the first thing which attracted me. I can't tolerate blank faced "actors" who only look good. I also liked the chemistry between the entire Birla family, YuvAni, ShaTima, ShaRaj etc...they all seem believable and real...and I love both Suhani & Yuvraj individually and as a couple too so I'm watching to see their journey and love story...and on the side I rly like Bhavna, Sharad, Pratima, even Menka is ok...Saurabh&Anuj are ok too.

Absolutely. If you watch a scene of Pratima with her 3 sons, and Sharad...they really look like a real family...that's how awesome their chemistry is with one another. So real. It makes show a pleasure to watch

actually, even with dadi (can't believe I 'm saying this...let's leave aside the sodaramen for a bit). Dadi is their reality as clearly they show Pratima as nice but kinda scatter-brained and Dadi must have really played a BIG role in bringing up the B-boys from the way the family is shown! I kinda like Menka..hers and Yuvraj's characterization are a little iffy at times (inconsistent) but ..all in all great cast I/c the external characters like Krishna's family; ankit, abhilasha etc..The casting director can definitely take a bow!

And then it is close to reality. I mean in some indian serials they show leads doing a lot of make up .even if they sleeps. LOL. But in reality it's impossible to do make up all the time. And for me its close to reality. 😉 and it's different too

realistic yes but even in this serial, barring Suhani who is shown closest to natural and to an extant Pratima, all the rest of the BH female cast is shown in make up Rags and Menka and Dadi (eww..it's quite scary her make-up 😛), but I get what you mean, it atleast not OTT!
