Rajshri Rani, the so-called untrained actor.

Hey guys 😊

I am a huge fan of Rajshri and always thought that her acting prowess is flawless.

She absolutely steals the show in every scene that she's in and has a way of drawing you in. Whereas I find Sahil and Neha lack the grit, emotive, rawness and put simply the "realness" that Rajshri brings to the character despite the incredibly poor editing and direction SSEL is taking.

This brings me to an old article that I came across [http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tv/news/hindi/Suhani-Si-Ek-Ladki-actor-Sahil-Mehta-idolises-SRK/articleshow/36307570.cms] and found this particular statement from Sahil Mehta quite interesting, "...Suhani hasn't been trained in any acting, so initially I didn't get along with her...".

Well all I can say that it is Rajshri, who is coming across as the seasoned actor and over the last 3 months with hardly any screen time her stellar performance just simply puts her on a different level to Sahil and Neha.

Rajshri is in a class of her own...Suhani's exuberance, despair, passion, and hope is brought to life by Rajshri.

About Rajshri, she is a stellar performer who manages to emote Suhani's every emotion exceptionally. šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘

I think this is a defining statement about Rajshri-
Suhani's exuberance, despair, passion, and hope is brought to life by Rajshri.

Why we all love and root for Suhani so much is because we connect to her on a different plane, altogether. šŸ‘ā¤ļøšŸ˜² She portrays Suhani with an incisiveness that is rare. I don't know what well of inspiration she draws from, but she is able to make Suhani larger than life. We feel every minute feeling Suhani goes through. āļø

Maybe the fact that she is untrained is what gives her performance that genuine touch, that finesse and rawness. 😃 It is because of the lack of technique that she is able to just give it her all.

@Clarity

Absolutely agree! šŸ‘

Rajshri exudes an effortless natural talent that resonates to us as viewers whereas the other protagonists including Sahil and Neha's performance often comes across as wooden (barring Gaurav who I think will rise to the occasion if given the chance).

All in all Rajshri has most definitely raised the bar for her fellow actors āļø

I guess at times a formal training is not needed. When you have passion for your work and a determined to work hard for it, it comes out even better. That is the case with Rajshri!šŸ‘

I have to agree with you šŸ‘ watching Sahil and Neha is cringeworthy sometimes, though Sahil has improved a lot. Rajshri is extremely talented.

Rajshri is a very natural actress, she doesn't go overboard. She is neither dramatic. Acting comes naturally for her. She just puts herself in Suhani's shoe and lives the character.

For me personally the only saving grace and my reason to persist with SSEL is Rajshri. Rajshri in spite of some of just sheer farce of a script is breathing life into Suhani's scenes. āļø

It makes me wonder if SSEL team think that we as audiences are not intelligent enough to piece its implausible storyline, the incredible ridiculous dialogues and not to mention the multitude of loop holes...hmmm..šŸ¤”

With both the direction and script the writers of SSEL has a lot to answer for.

@Megs

Hey hey hey! Followed suit and created a profile today. Just could not resist not commenting šŸ˜›.

Could not agree with you more, Rajshri Rani is the saving grace of this show and she is outclassing the rest who are struggling to rise above the shocking script.

But in saying that, even Rajshri's brilliant acting cannot go past the absolutely ridiculous and archaic dialogues that these amateur writers are coming up with!!

I mean who in these times would say "washing my husband's clothes is my right and my right only"?? !!! WTH!! 😔😔

Honestly, I would've NEVER guessed that Rajshri isn't trained. She comes across as SO natural and realistic. In fact, she's basically the only reason I check in with this show from time to time. She emotes super well. In fact, I'd say she's a scene stealer almost.

As for Sahil and Neha, I really thought Neha wasn't trained. Both of their performances are okay. nothing special.

@ lovely_lady 😊

According to the article in my initial post both Sahil Mehta and Neha attended Whistling Woods together which appears to be a training institution for performing arts.

If the comment by Sahil Mehta is correct then yes it seems like Rajshri Rani has had no formal training as such.

But despite all the "training" ultimately it comes down to natural talent which Rajshri is showing again and again in her performance whereas Sahil and Neha just fails to impress.
