He was even asking from his mom about Suhani...And Pratima said him today that he ignores Suhani a lot😊 loved maa bete ka scene too...So he also came to know that Sumya told everybody about the picnic ..

No I think Dadi is trying to look innocent in front of Suhani...they probably planned to get Suhani to come to that room and then Dadi started her drama of scolding Soumya to clear her name. Dadi cannot let her reputation get stained...
