I'm going to guess that Pratima was dadi's choice. She's fair, probably comes from a rich family. On paper she must have been perfect but maybe her husband didn't love her. He might have loved a girl who was poorer, darker and wasn't allowed to marry her so he could have been a terrible husband to Pratima. Dadi could have picked up the vibes and blamed Pratima instead of herself and her son.

Pratima is a very good and kind lady... She is very loving and caring..So she is obviously a better person, better wife,,better mother and best mother in law...

prats and her hubby track has always intrigued me initially I thought that her hubby had been bad and had ran off or something coz no1 talks about him bt than they said he is dead and yuvraj spoke about him so fondly that I got disappinted. Bt every time they mention him in the show I feel there is more to this story and its not so simply. I am really looking forward to this track I somehow just dnt feel like he is dead and is gona be brought in much later in the show and might actually be the link that unites yuvani again. Maybe he will have another family and a son who would fall in love with suhani lol. Also there must be a reason why they dnt have any pictures of him around.

lol what a thought the Birla's having a thing for dark girls lol. Actually that aint a bad thought coz dadi hatred for dark ppl is just so intense and truly seems to come from another place lol. I do hope we eventually see a track in the future a long time from now where we see the reasons for her perfectionist behavior and why she her fav colour is white. Bt I think Prats is poor that's why sharad stays with her I dnt think she comes from money.

From what we've seen of the old hag, it's probably something small she's made into a huge fault. I don't think the woman is bothered about shielding the boys from any damaging truth--she's the kind who would just use anything to get Pratima to stay subservient and would convince her she did something unforgivably bad. But 1 more track that can widen the scope of this v insular BH world.

For dadi Suhani is also a bad wife. She never saw faults in her grandson maybe she did the same with her son. She is the one who can create problems between husband n wife and when realtions soar she puts the blame on wife and tease them there whole life.

Dadi is a very different character ... She is playing with 4 lives , right now and using 2 lives , she is destroying Yuvraj, Krishna, Soumya n Suhani's life and she is also not keen to keep Soumya with Yuvraj, once her job is done, Dadi will be the one who is going to throw her out of BH. While destroying she is using RagMan , she is not true to them also, she uses Menka so smoothly and she will do the same with Rags too.

Pratima would not be at fault, maybe because of her medical problem anything would have happened and Dadi being bossy would have put blame on her.
