TRP Analysis: Why do you think it tanked? - Page 2

Do the cvs even read the posts on here? Seems like we are wasting our time trying to get them to listen. They'll keep on showing soumya crap and an even crappier hero. This show wants me wanna scream. The cvs need a good shaking. Someone knock some sense into them.

The reason why the trps dropped is coz they took their audience for granted and they stopped giving us a complete show. This show is very new it still has to grow its audience and it really does not have a set audience who would turn in every day no matter what and in jan/feb this was the time where they were supposed to grip the set audience and grow as well and they just did not do that. I think at the moment the trp audience and the online audience is the same and why I say this is that neither the flopstar nor SaRaj brought in fans with them when this show started. So whatever fans they have now its coz of the show and where would these online fans come from- the trp audience and the writers/ producer should have realized this and should have actually been checking online and seeing what is working and what is not.

The worst part is that we actually msg them we sent them posts as to what we noticed was right and wrong in the show but they were too full of themselves and just did not care enough to listen to what we had to say. This forum why I think it is the best is that we love the show as a whole and we were not asking for just Yuvani we asked for tracks on Saurabh, prats, bhavna every1 and we just did not get that. The other worst part was having the dialogue writer say that there are fans who actually want to see dadi and company but if that is true than there are also hordes of fans that wanted to see Yuvani why where we not considered? They truly really ruined a beautiful show this could have been a master piece this could have been bidaai 2 it will be now seen as the badder version of sns if they continue to flop up the way they have done for the last few months.

But main reasons

1. As every1 mentioned the flopstar

No1 would watch a negative character each and every day making horrendous faces to the camera and looking awful and than being told she is the most beautiful woman in the world no1 freaking believes it. Also she pushed the main villains who where funny, mean and entertaining to the side and became the main villain. Every single character on this show be it the main or villains became bystanders coz of 1 character and worse they made rags go mad and stupid and the bootilicious dadi she fell for snaky and became a bore. But the main reason why snaky is not working for the story is that she is neither funny, nor entertaining she does not possess the ability to draw the audience on her own small doses of her would have worked bt they have over shown her and this character needs to be not shown for atleast 2 months and then come back she really needs to give us a break. Her having unlimited, unstoppable 5 minutes self dialogues(alone) + scenes with every1 each and every day is too much especially when u show the lead female for 2 min, the lead couple for 1 min, and the supposed hero for half a second doing nothing is BAD ENTERTAINMENT in any country.

2. Yuvraj

I dnt understand this why do they make him so unlikeable? They do not get him to do anything they show him with Suhani, with his fam and now majority of the time with snaky otherwise they do not show him and this has been going on for months. I just do not understand why they have made him such an unappealing character. I have come to the point where I do not believe this character is the actual lead hero of the show they have made him to unlikeable and the more they show him with snaky the more they make him unappealing and I think as we can see from the forum every1 is pulling away from him. this is so sad because Sahil what an actor, what a talent and he made this character likeable and he made Yuvani just as much as Suhani and his work I am sorry my darling for saying this has gone down the drain. I would just imagine after a hard day of work how he must feel just dejected especially after this weeks scenes.

3. Yuvraj and snaky( they forgot what country they live in)

And I remember at that time comparing them to Yuvani and I felt like the sort of scenes that they had previously given Yuvani and the way they edited the scenes which always somehow felt incomplete it made me feel like they deliberately did not want there to be an actual connection btw Yuvani and they did not want this couple to be likeable. And I still get the same feeling till now compare the scenes we get of these 2 and Yuvani this whole week, they have wanted jerkraj and snaky to be liked the sort of scenes they got we have never really had for Yuvani.

The biggest problem is that they have made snaky's actions seem as if it is correct and almost pure and every time they have that sad bg music for her I really feel they want her to be liked. Really villains are not liked and worse this is immoral behavior in which ever country u are in this is wrong and somehow I feel from their scenes that this is not coming across hard enough and this is turning fans off.

And I have to say this Sahil has really progressed as an actor he can now cover lack of chemistry from his co-stars and so this could be future couple if fans do not watch out. TWEET EVERY FREAKING DAY YOUR LOVE FOR YUVANI

4. Koi baat somu ... Suhani

They just need to show this girl more and make her stop saying those words. Makes tracks revolving around her more make her the focus and give her back her brains and just make her find out the truth I do not have a problem with princess

5. Whatever is going on in the fishy production house needs to stop

I keep saying this whatever reason Neha Yadav is shown so much they need to stop it whoever is pushing for her to be shown more really if they continue this no1 would watch. The trps are showing it. If neha is aware of the reason why she is shown so much she needs to put the show 1^st and tell them it is ok to not show her. Coz really I am sorry I have never ever seen 1 character been shown so much in a show when they are not the lead and push every other character out of the show where it seems as if no focus or thought is being put into any other character besides her.

6. None development of characters and story lines

This show is coming to the point where it makes no sense with the popping in and out of characters. If u show a character in 1 episode and then show him again a month later no1 will remember him. For instance Krishna the character no longer makes sense, he has lost his sting, edge and impact on the show. Is he a grey character, good character he is nothing they should just let Ankur go at this pt such a waste of talent (and this is coming from his 1 fan and the number 1 fan of the future couple KriSu like really i was planning on my AT where i would have conversations with myself coz those bully Yuvani fans would kick me out of their AT now i got nothing to look forward to😭😭 ). Then there is Saurabh we saw the phone calls and lipstick scene I think in December and then 1^st week of jan and we in feb now and there has been nothing shown for his character. But even so this could be a future story line bt in btw u can show the character.

7. Repetitiveness and bad research

They show the same thing day in and day out there is no new tracks it's just the same bullshit recycled and whatever issues they try and bring in no research goes into it.

They rose because of people's expectations from YuvAni. I think their romance in December & January, growing chemistry really attracted people. I know for sure that this forum only came to life due to that reason. Whatever scenes they got were well written, well directed, well acted...and thy fell because Soumya took over the show and instead of becoming a catalyst for YuvAni's increasing closeness, she began to actually be a reason , in true vampish sense, to push them apart...and then they even showed us stuff like a full blown vamp saving the lead...everyone saving the lead except her costar...this is pure rubbish. This show was changing and everyone was tolerating heaps of garbage to see 3 min long scenes of SaRaj. I love them both equally so I'm going to say it with full confidence...when they are given the chance to showcase their chemistry, this feels like a different show. Along with them there are ShaTima, SauNuj , Snoopy, and bits of Dadi & RagMen that make this show tolerable. No one is tuning into this show, or has been from the day it started to see Soumya or see Yuvraj with anyone else. They want to see Suhani's love story done right and Yuvraj has been there from the first episode itself and all signs pointed to them being meant to be and the audience is sick of seeing them with everyone except each other.

Plus the CVs have to stop giving scenes which belong to YuvAni, and putting everyone NOT named Yuvraj with Suhani in those situations. Shame on them. Sahil deserves better than this crap...these ppl shoot all day and night but yet episodes turn out to be garbage? So sad for them.

Apu I agree with all your points and is believe the reply could not be better than what Mehwish has said here.. I was also not a viewer of the show and became one only because of Yuvani and the positive changes in their relationship.. And how cvs have taken the story on the backfoot and thrown negative crap down our throats off late is the reason for the downfall.. Give audience good enough so they can stick to some bad tracks also for their loyalty.. Just when people join the show for they like what they are watching don't make them change their decision by giving such trash tracks..

Option B is the most common among viewers. The timing that SSEL is pretty early and easily replaceable by anything else really... As harsh as it sounds. Although I SSEL online cause I usually study during that time, sometimes I can hear mom and grandma going completely berserk and yelling at the television screen. 😆😆 I think the fact that we are getting so much negativity on the show may be the primary reason of the drop in TRPs.. My mom I think for the past couple of days has been flipping the channel whenever she sees Snaky, I think overexposure may be the problem... But I think you discussed that in your analysis.

Actually I'm not sure really, I think its the timing combined with the negativity as well as the injustices constantly done towards Suhani... People don't want to see so much negativity this early on?

Okay I think I completely missed up on this post, sorry if I sound completely dumb... YOU GOT ME REALLY STUMPED! 😲😲 I don't get SNS can carry on with all the bullshit that goes on in that show.. I don't know Apu. Personally for me its the glorification of Sonarikafan's "princess" and its mishandling of social issues while for my mom and grandma, their annoyance regarding the overexposure to Snaky and the dumbness of Suhani's character at times. 😕

@bold- I completely agree. I said this somewhere too, but SSEL is totally replaceable because it airs at a really early time slot. For established shows or prime time ones, they can afford some mediocrity because viewers might given them a second chance, but being a new show at an early time slot, SSEL needs to keep up the pressure. They need to be churning out incredible episodes right now, otherwise, viewers will dismiss the show.

I hope they take their lesson from the TRP slump and there is a change.

but just wanted to point out that the molestation scene happened on monday and so all the real crap happened THIS week only.. The trp was for the episodes shown last week.

Actually the expectations were very high last week. Ppl wud have excepted lots of yuvani moments this week. Lets just hope the trp for this week (which will come out next wednesday only) also falls.

Yes, I actually digressed a bit in my point about Yuvraj's inconsistency by talking about this week. 😆😆 The main point was that Yuvraj's ambiguous feelings for Suhani are something the viewers CAN'T take for too long. Even on other shows, despite the leads fighting/being separated, people NEVER doubt that they love each other. However, here people are not just confused about whether he loves Suhani, but whether he still loves Soumya. 😲😲 I think that's a problem the CVs need to remedy. I don't think viewers can digest JerkRaj for too long. 😡

Yeah, actually Famu, I was wondering why they were continuously interrupting YuvAni's V-Day moments for flashback scenes with Dadi. 😲😲 It was almost like the main scenes were the Phateechars' convos and YuvAni scenes were the side ones being thrust in between to break their flow. Why couldn't they give us a continued scene??

I think the ambivalence they are having Yuvraj show is really dangerous. Indian viewers are big on monogamy and true love. They will find it hard to accept YuvAni if they aren't a 100% convinced that Yuvraj loves her, even if he doesn't show it.
