Wow, yanks, we think quite similarly. I agree with you on this and appreciate the turn YuvAni's relationship is taking. What I was talking about was the complete lack of thought about sex in either of their minds. I mean, Suhani never thinks that they are probably waiting because they haven't established a comfort zone yet, neither does Yuvi think about avoiding it.

@bold- You are right, and these situations two people generally take a mutual decision to abstain from sex till they get to know each other. However, here neither of them has brought up the topic so there's no mutual decision. The CVs are just acting like YuvAni exist in sexless utopia or dystopia (depending on your opinion)😆, which is what makes it unrealistic. Of course, I would reiterate my point that they probably CAN'T show them pondering these issue 'cause it's Indian TV.

Oh I know...I get all that concern over thet lack of thought...even I feel that needs to be there however I think even if they did think about it, they wouldn't be as concerned as we might think they should be because mentally they are also not in a place where they would be ready to go forward with that ...YET. The lack of thought is unnatural for sure.

LOL @ sexless utopia 😆😆

Awesome post. I agree completely

But I feel suhanis character is too immature to undertand things like that. I mean we saw how she acted like a school girl who's in love with her boyfriend when she was telling soumya how he loves yuvraj

And yuvraj I think doesn't understand his relationship with suhani he won't accept he like a her.

But after this soumya drama I would really hope the cvs will show emotion in their relationship

So true, yanks. But do agree with everyone who finds it strange that Suhani has never questioned that the guy who supposedly liked her has made no moves. Leave alone making any advances, he was downright mean to start with -- that also ties in with the introspection thing. How can there be no thought process which shows why Suhani has accepted the situation without questioning it?
While Suhani is likable, I do feel there is an element in the characterization which makes her out to be rather stupid, not only in her smiling acceptance of Yuvraj or Dadi's bad behavior, but also her blindness and persistent refusal to see the writing on the wall regarding Snakey-snake.
Good vs evil and all is fine, but there should be shades too. Too much niceness is cloying and irritating.

You described it perfectly! 👏There have been many times that I have been irritated by Suhani's attitude.
Being happy-go-lucky is all well and good, but by deliberately ignoring problems and the anti-social tendencies of others around you, you're just being stupid. It's a lapse on the part of the CVs, because they intentionally make Suhani dumb to carry on their exaggerated storylines. I mean, anybody can tell from their BFF's odd behaviour that something is wrong. Soumya will taunt her and she will just smile and act like nothing happened. These shows take being "good" to the extreme of being "deaf, dumb and blind". Standing up against the abuse The Evil Trio dole out wouldn't make anyone bad, but they try to pretend like it's Suhani's goodness which prevents her from reacting. 🤢

@anita I so agree on that part about suhani being blind and stupid. She is an intelligent girl bt very nave and stubborn. Bt she seems to be 1 of those ppl who needs to be directed at the truth if there is a problem she wnt find it on her own. These ppl in the show need to start hinting or she needs to hear something that makes her suspicious or she will forever remain retard number 1.

Hey, a very important question. 👏

This is a logical lapse on the part of the CVs, TBH. They are purposefully doing this so they don't have to deal with this difficult question. Also, there is a tendency for sex to be considered extremely taboo in India, so for an Indian TV show to deal intelligently with this topic is unheard of.

They usually portray sex as immoral, disgusting and the domain of negative characters. Case in point, The Evil Trio and their whole camera drama. It seems only bad people think about sex, while good ones like YuvAni exist on a whole different plane. 😕😕

Sex is a healthy and important part of an adult romantic relationship that everyone thinks about, men or women, but the CVs are acting like Suhani and Yuvi are in 7th grade. Hell, even 7th graders start thinking about sex, but no, not YuvAni. 😆

It's a loophole for sure, because Yuvraj has never thought how he would convince Suhani on the no sex part when she thinks he loves her. No nervousness, nothing. Suhani thinks that husbands and wives are no more than roommates, it seems. It's irritating, but we can't expect more because otherwise many viewers may just complain to the BCCC over it. Indian viewers are very hypocritical when it comes to sex.

Yes I agree, I wish they would stop portraying sex in a negative light. It's healthy and really an important biological process! But Indian TV shows nahhh... I guess its because really young kids watch these shows too, (I was 7 when I started watching Indian TV shows), but I guess we need to think about the demographic, and these shows are promoted as "family shows" (supposedly)..

I know they can't show them verbally talking or thinking about sex, but they can put in a scene where Suhani is wearing something that flattering her figure (dress or even jeans and t-shirt) and Yuvraj can't stop staring at her and later reflects on that.. Too much? I can only fantasize!
