New Layout for IF - Feedback required - Page 2

👏 👏 👏 Very nice Vijay bhai!

- I like the Quick Links tab, it's very efficient... and I also like the logo but you said something about having India flag on it right? Could the people be green, white, and orange? And the chakra in the middle.. or just the flag. I think having the three people there makes it seem more like we're a socialising forum, though? Anyway we can have something to do with telly or entertainment there?
- I know everyone has said this, but yah, the Bolly section really takes up too much space😳
- Can we make the GAs on the center of the pg, like how it is now? Cos that's how they'll catch the attention... my suggestion would be like to really minimise the Bolly area, move the channels down and then put the GAs there, so it would fit in the center.. but just a suggestion.
- The three blue boxes, with the "upload videos", the other tabs, and to log-in, are quite big and take up some space too. Can we make those smaller, maybe?
- I think the Tellybuzz tabs can just appear when you click on the red Tellybuzz tab on top...
- Is there a way that we can have all the shows available for each channel, like how it is now? Im not sure if that's what you intended, but just to make sure. That way every member can see every forum instead of having to go somewhere else to see all the serials in a channel.
- I think for the Online Users, I think Anku (anku2cute) said this, but if we can't have them directly on the home page then can we have a tab for them?

- I think the layout is really nice, but hmm, for me, I think it emphasises more on the technological side... for me atleast, India-Forums has always looked really homely and I feel this one has less of that "homely" touch. This is the biggest point for me, because I know for many IF is like a second home and if we could keep it looking more homely I feel it would be beneficial.😳

But all in all, it's really nice and it's a big change but only for the good I'm sure... I had a bit more to add and will add that later!😳

Btw, that Child Advocates Ad, was that just there or are we actually going to have it permanently on the homepage? It's quite big and too prominent, if that could be smaller😳

Below are my inputs.

• The bollywood news is taking more space. Telly Buzz-Television articles gets maximum hits. Can we do like this have two colums wherein one side having top 5 Bollywood News & other side TV news which get maximum hits/replies or a flash kind of thing for 5 sec Bollywood & for next 5 seconds TV like we have currently on home page where Review/Interview is shown. The remaining space can be used for active users list.
  
• Can we have GA's on front page.
• The Quick link idea is very good but since it's placed down there is chance that people might miss it out. | Members List | | Indian TV Index | TV Actors Index IF-Addicts is missing.
• The log in feature via which member can choose to add himself in active list or not is missing. Can we have that too.
• Multiple PM feature waiting for this it will save lot of time😳

That's as of now will add more later.

Few things only that i'd like to say::

1. Like everyone said, the GAs need to have a more prominent and important place, and it's just TOO useful to have the online users list, so please think about it before pushing it off soewhere...

2. GD is in a side tab, i see a general section there... The main page general goes into that, or does it have a separate list? At present Avatar n Sig shops, Member's Lounge, etc... are on the GD page as well as main page 😳 😕

Also, if GD is on main page, why is there still a tab? 😳

- GA's need to be prominent and given a little more space. They're completely pushed off to the site and since these are the important announcements of the forum, I feel they should be the first thing to catch a member's eye 😳

- Bollywood news right under the serial forums kinda makes it confusing and crowded. It can just be added under the Bollywood tab 😛

- Are all the GD sections giong to be on the homepage too? If yes, then why is there a GD tab at the top? 😳

Dont see the ID showing up as we now have on top.
No indication about PM's.
Video is there in a lot of places
a. in the top red line
b. the 1st box
c. the 2nd box.

could tke sometime for people to get used to this new design its a lot different from the current one

GA's need to be displayed more prominantly, i think shrinking bollywood news might be a better way to go.

As for feedback, I maybe the only one but I don't want the layout to be changed, the one currently looks perfect to me. 😳

I didn't see any PM sign and changing the positions of a few things will make it look better, but overall, your efforts are very much appreciated! 👏 😳

great layout bhai! really love it a lot.
i think more room should be given to the GAs..
also, the ad on the top of the page is too big. we could use some of that space to add more stuff/enhance features.

Just asking.

Instead of changing the whole layout can we not keep the current layout, and just change the way the channels and the serials are displayed.

Like instead of Star Plus at the left and all of the serials showings, in this same layout just have all the channels showing, and clicking the channel will go to the next screen which will have all the serials

its perfect, since IF is growing day by day,

1. for the serial name part I have to agree with pinkykhan
2. GA should be either in the center or top of the page so members can see them easily thats all. I guess the rest of the Mods said what I wanted.😃
3. Bollywood news can either be on the side
