How about we have have an automated welcome PM for new members.

It could just welcome the members to IF and outline some basic rules as well as advertise the TellyBuzz and stuff. It could maybe get the members get settled in faster.

Maybe it might reduce the number of posts locked in forums asking for updates or opening posts asking questions rather than using the respective Help Desks.

What say guys?

I'm for this too. And it could provide links to how to put a signature etc.

infact when i was new i dint know wat is signature,IF podcast,& slambook
i came to know tht after asking few members
so i think its really wonderful suggestion

yea its a gr8 idea yuks

and we should direct them to a place where they can introduce them self..
ever day lot of new members post 'hi.. im new'
and specially they need to learn how to change their ladder group
lot of new members are confused abt these stuff
