Yes, it is an issue now, I am facing the same problem. The emoji panel draws over existing content and doesn't let us add emojis. We have to scroll up to add the emoji every time. Please look into this.

Having a minimum 5-word limit encourages members to express themselves more fully rather than using terse, two- or three-word sentences. However, the 3-word limit is a good idea because it prevents users from writing more when voting in banner threads!

expressions cant be forced. If they want express they will do so regardless of word limits. Lower limit will infact help many respond who doesnt want to write long essays but still be part of discussion.

Also this rule of five minimum words doesn't work. Its restrictive and quite annoying. Its very common to have sentences with 3 words only. Reduce it to three

This issue has been resolved.

No one asking to write long essay. Just 5 word sentence (minimum). Well if they want to be part of the discussion they can spare that much time.

Some members have expressed concern about posts being deleted. They suggest implementing checks earlier in the process to avoid the need for deletion later so this is being done considering that.

By the way, we’ll explore methods to ensure that clearing +1 posts doesn’t affect the Ladder Group, User Level, or their post count.

It's my humble request to cooperate with us on this one.

I understand that some of you have expressed concerns about the recent restriction on posting short messages of fewer than 5 words. Let me clarify the reasoning behind this decision.

  • Quality Enhancement: By encouraging slightly longer posts, we aim to improve the overall quality of discussions. Longer posts often provide more context, insights, and meaningful contributions.
  • SEO Impact: Search engines tend to favor content-rich pages. When our forum posts contain substantial content, they become more discoverable through search engine optimization (SEO). This benefits both our community and those seeking relevant information.
  • Engagement: In the long run you will see this would spark more engagement as they invite thoughtful responses, discussions, and interactions among members. This fosters a vibrant and active community.

Remember that this change is intended to enhance the forum experience for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Regards,
