Hit the spacebar after pasting the link in the URL bar. That should fix it.

Vijay, I have been on this forum since 2008. Never have I seen such mockery of victims, promotion of genocide and advocacy of right wing fundamentalism on here. This place used to be a safe space for people from all countries and those belonging to all faiths. It used to be progressive. But that is clearly not the case anymore.

You might as well ban me and rename this forum Hindutva-forums. Because that’s the only ideology that is accepted by some of the moderators here.

Mocking Muslims, minorities, non Indian ethnicities of the subcontinent, those who are left leaning are all acceptable and okay.

But dare anyone say anything about the Hindutva cult’s fundamentalists who spread hate on here day and night or Zionist worshippers who are literally celebrating genocide and mocking massacre of babies and children, you get automatically shut down.

I bet some of these Hindutva cultists can’t even tell one Hindu god from another. Neither have they read the Bhagvad Gita let alone comprehend it. All they can do is make mockery of Hindu mantras, put it in their signature and spread hatred. They know nothing but hate against minorities especially Muslims.

What kind of a Hindu celebrates massacre of children in an active genocide? That too gleefully. Why are such posts allowed willy nilly? But anyone taking a stand against that is shut down?

i totally disagree with khala's assessment that this site is right-leaning. If anything, many of us feel it's exactly the opposite. In particular, while we are on the subject of what makes members unwelcome, here's a list-

- mocking people as "bhakts";

- using every opportunity to denounce members as "hindutva fundamentalists";

- attacking Modi as a butcher or as a Nazi fascist;

- calling members bigots, misogynists, racist etc at the drop of a hat;

- passing innuendos and casting aspersions on PMs about certain members being old or MIDs (I have this on PMs from mutual friends). Basically muddying the water against members;

- making multiple MIDs to attack members and getting cronies to do the same to gang up;

Also, I don't think anyone on one on the pro-Israel side is celebrating any genocide. That's one thing the mods are generally good about- weeding out hate speech! On the contrary, the objective of "Palestine will be free from river to sea" calling for the extermination of Israel is exactly the thing the terror group hamas is pushing. It's also started inviting censure in real life, eg. people like Rashida Talib. And I predict it will get more people in trouble. Will not speak about moderation publicly because that's against rules.

There are members who are calling muslims jihadis in current affairs section. How is that acceptable? Does this place not want to have muslim members and Hindu members who are against Islamophobia?? As soon as these concerns are brought up the post gets reported and topic gets locked.

It is more than obvious there is no room for objectivity on this forum when it comes to political/religious discussions. If the moderators took fair action against both groups for “name calling” then that would be one thing. But the response from moderators is disproportionate.

An unhinged newbie/MID called me a “Jihadi Barbie” simply because I refuse to support fascist Israel in its senseless genocide. Was that post deleted? Sure. But only after at least five members reported it. Several hours later. Was that newbie banned? Of course not. Then, there are posts from regular, long standing members who call Muslim members all kinds of names including terrorists, Jihadi and what not.

Birdienumbnumb even advocated for bombing of Muslim countries. Yet, nothing happens to him. Only his post was deleted. Several hours later, again. Because several people reported.

On the other hand newbies who post in favor of Palestine even if respectfully are outright banned on the Current Affairs forums. Rahila22, Yaniki and Pixie_cut etc are some names I can think of who were all banned.


The whole world can march on the streets to support Palestine but no one is allowed to support Palestine on this forum. If they do, they are shut down. Might as well name the Current Affairs forum Israel Support Group or something.

I am only still here to give my take on how things are handled by some bad apple moderators on here. So ban me if you want for speaking the truth. I Legit don’t care at this point.

Palestinian Babies and children are being massacred for senseless reasons. If speaking out against THAT gets me a WL or a ban on this biased forum, then that is a stupidly small price to pay.

Anyway, please provide context for my remark. Whether its a muslim or a non muslim country, I have certainly advocated bombing countries that support terrorism. I mentioned iran and qatar as two countries that support terrorism. I even mentioned how the US had dropped nukes during ww2. I believe it was better to save the lives of a million young american soldiers who would have otherwise died in a ground assault. So? The US has also had same positions as me. Ours in any case is a view that can be subject to debate, and in a discussion forum does not merit the kind of slander some of us are subjected to.

Also, i thought we were dealing with site issues here and why members might feel unwelcome. Didnt think it was to vent one's personal issues... that are better kept to PMs with mods imo.
