I’ve been tapping on the upload option like a maniac but nothing is happening. OHMYGOD am I going to be stuck with the same DP for the rest of my forum life? I’m suddenly feeling claustrophobic.

Fikar not, let me help you out. I've changed my dp five times already so I'm somewhat of an expert.

Follow these steps-

1. Go to settings.

2. Click on update profile image option.

3. On your present DP, towards the bottom left of it to be precise, you'll see a small dustbin icon. Click on that.

4. Now that your present dp has vanished from the screen, click on upload your own option (it is highlighted in light blue font)

5. Select the picture you want as your new dp by tapping on the choose file option that has now become available.

6. Once you've found a satisfactory image and cropped it to fit your needs, click on upload.

Leaving aside the PM. I had a suggestion when we block member. Is it possible for us not to see that member's posts at all?

I am a member of another forum, which uses tapatalk, and I haven't had to block anyone there yet, but as per my understanding when members block other members they do not see their posts anymore, unless someone quotes them. It would be nice if india forums had that.

I second this. It would be great if my eyes were spared from reading some of the junk from people I have blocked. Ain’t nobody got time for absorbing negative energy. I don’t know if it’s doable. But I know when you’re not logged in you can’t see members only/matured content posts. Maybe something like that should show up for people who you have blocked.

Thank you, that’s exactly what I did prior to posting here. The issue is that no matter how many times I tap on the upload option, it won’t let me. I’m using my phone for this so not sure if members who are able to change their dp is using their laptop/computer.

I’m trying to avoid doing that because ain’t nobody gonna be looking for my laptop charger. 🫠

That’s weird indeed. I don’t use my laptop to access this place but I have not encountered this problem before on my phone.
Lemme give you an advice a boomer would give, try logging out and then logging back in, maybe that’ll help? Or maybe clear your cache and cookies?

If that still doesn't work please share the screenshot of that page so that we can understand the issue better.

Can you please review Supari_khala posts in current affairs section? She got a WL increase even though she did not post anything wrong. I read all her posts and there was no “using religious slurs and hateful rhetoric” in any of her posts.

I am kindly asking you to review her posts and reach out to her. I don't think she can send PMs due to WL.

I'm facing issues while trying to hyperlinking text while posting from my iPad and phone.

Steps I follow: I highlight the text, click on the insert link button, paste the link I want to attach to that text and then post but it doesn't work. Please look into this.
