This has been a common occurance and sadly the site admins have indeed turned a blind eye to such harassment, stalking and cyber bullying.

Dear mods,

My friends in the past had faced a lot of harassamet and online bullying on the Bollywood forum but the most recent experiences that I came across on the BB12 forum took cyberbullying to another level. Each of us come here to have fun discussing shows we like watching but it has become kind of a fashion for some, to use these opinions as a reason to harass and personally attack people! A lot of my friends faced it from one person repeatedly making Ids despite getting banned over and over again. The person did not just make posts and threads which were straight up demeaning but also send abusive private messages.

IF is a very popular platform and it would be a great initiative on your part if your could take steps and measures to ensure that users here do not end up with bad experiences like these! Faceless ids abusing the power of being anonymous and harassing people for having an opinion needs to be addressed as promptly as possible.

Looking forward to seeing some development in this direction.

I have faced this issue in Bepannaah forum.

I hope Vijay reads this and takes some action.

Suggestions-

1. Strict IP Filtering

2. Newbies shouldn't be able to send PM

Yes I know its not a girl and boy issue..i get it but i bet more girls are stalked and harassed than boys online.

Anyway I support this effort regardless of gender. Great suggestions have already come so I will not act as gayaani. More intelligent people have already spoken

Time to act.

To MIDs. I think I replied to one directly and gave suggestion that loving someone is no issue and maybe it is true as well. But but lets have some respect and learn to let go and not resort to PMs and threats. I have no idea what went on but I support all the members here regardless

Please look into it and come up with measures so all can speak freely.

Edit: My suggestion

Once you find out which member was making MID (for ANY REASON)..post members name and MID and maintain a record. lol. a public embarrassment will prevent future members from doing thing.

Something definitely needs to be done to prevent the troubles caused by MID. There are lots of wonderful suggestion on this thread. I hope something will be done by IF.
