Hello,

NO. This is not the lame attempt to copy My Experiments with Truth. This is my real experiments with situation called 'Sending-PM'

I have a question. What is limit of PMs? I was gone from IF from two years or so...but I perfectly remember that at the time I was hyper active on IF, PM limit was 20. I hope it is increased. And also...increased by I mean, there is no limit. 😆 I should be able to send message to all without freaking counting everyone. The reason being that I am 'trying-to-be-a-writer' and in my attempts to do that, I have written few OS, SS & FFs. And luckily, few people read that too so I have to PM them each update.

Now comes the main part. I am SUPER LAZY. I absolutely, down right rudely HATE the PM part as it has freaking limit. So...its kind of question as well as suggestion. Please remove those things. Or else, make something else for writers who have some 500+ PM list to send with each update. 🥱

Also, does anyone know the keyboard shortcut to select each person in our contact list for PM?

Suggestion : Can't I even see how many friends I have already selected for the PM? I mean somewhere in the window, it should be shown that 10 of 20 is selected or whatever. What happens is that I count in my mind the numbers but then mind is super active organ so sometimes it forgets the last count so I send the PM and then error message appears and breaks my heart and ANGER kills my brain cells by tiniest part of seconds! 😡 This is worst of all...its like failing in exams with overwriting all the correct answers.

Please do something. Anyone.

No matter how much I try to write less...I end up regretting writing so much for few problems! *Phew*

Either help or join me with your experiments as well and we shall find joy in our sorrows together!

Maddy,

The limit is now 50. So you can now send it to 50 people at a time. :)

I LIKE your suggestion. Right we need to count the members but there should be a window which shows who are selected separately, as it will make things clear.

Correct. So when can I expect this change? I hope when I update my next chapter. Bcoz...God is watching and I won't lie. The only and only reason I am not updating my story is bcoz of this PM problem. #HeightsOfLaziness 😉

50 pms..its really hectic to send every time 50 out of so many

cant we select all together in our pm list

even the games has better options select all n if u dont want to send u can undo the mark

IF must thinkover it

i hope ur post gets attention of moderaters n they do some changes over it

im also lazy when it comes to pm

BTW, I think we are not that lazy, everywhere we go, this is very basic thing. Mails and etc. So, its IF developers who should think upon this.

Hey ,

Forwarding the suggestion to tech DT.

Just summarising the PM related suggestions so that its easier for tech team.

1)increasing the PM limit

2)sending PM to whole buddy list

3)grouping buddy list and sending PM to certain group

4)if there is a PM limit then the number of members selected should be visible.

I too had opened a topic regarding this.

My suggestion was : A box just left of the usernames which is already counted 1. 2. Etcc... That would be the best solution.. IF cant remove the restrictions.. It would spam the.inboxes of people. And I think 50 is still better than 20 😆
