A few months back our website was 'upgraded' to be more compatible with mobile phones, but in the process we have lost some of the very useful features on desktop. The QUICK REPLY box is not working at all. I had complained many times on the thread in which Vijay had asked users to test and comment, but no action has been taken. Now it's a nuisance to hit reply and go to a new page and then post what we want. The QUICK REPLY was so damn useful! We need this back!
Secondly, the mobile version gives no way of going to inbox from a forum, except by viewing in desktop mode or by going to history pages on the browser. I have tested on Samsung Grand phone with Dolphin, Chrome and the native browser. There seems to be an indicator on top right showing how many PMs are there, but clicking it isn't taking us to the inbox.
The inbox itself is viewable only in desktop mode. So what's the point having a site which is partially mobile friendly? 😕
Lastly after the update the website has become extremely slow in desktop mode. I am using IE on Windows 8.1. I can't use other browsers for official reasons and I work for a company which runs a website, so I know it's unreasonable to ask users to use another browser. A website should be made compatible with all browsers.
I thought these fixes will be applied but of late nothing seems to be happening on the bug fixing front. Anyone listening?
