Hello Vijay & Everyone else

Since the major issue seems to be fair unbiased moderation ,i have a suggestion how about trying out something like a split DT where 50% of the team is nominated by the process in place already while the other 50 % is nominated and selected by the forum members themselves in a fully democratic way (this can be done once the forum is fully active say in 3 months time since the opening ).So the result would be a DT which hopefully has the right mix of people !

Dont know if it makes sense but at least it could be a middle way out which hopefully pleases all !

Pooja ur idea sounds good but there are flaws in members elected mods process. Not every member should be allowed to take part in the nomination, as a fangirl is going to end up as moderator, just because she has too many friends liking her POV earlier.

There need to be certain clauses for members who are thrown in for the member nomination process, some thing may be like Super Mods or other section mods looking at the short list before going in for a member voting process.

yep that could be a good start 😉 Its never going to be 100% perfect, still we could give it a try, no harm in that.

But giving the voting process back to the members is something I'm not really comfortable with, process needs to be dealt with the GM's or panel of mods who are not associated with the forum. These mods should be set on a trial basis, if they do good job, the could be continued else new ones could be tried out.
