I want to add something more hope its fine posting in your thread bcoz I am kinda lazy to open a thread here..

IF should have a feature for threads like ATs, Chit Chat threads, FFs etc.. Only if the members for particular thread need that.. Only the invitees or the members added in that particular thread's fan club or chat clubs can view the posts of the other members or post there.. Bcoz its really irritating when people stalk other members on IF and go through their posts in the ATs and CCs.. and then they start posting and fighting in that thread without being invited or without being added in that AT..

Also please add a PRIVACY option for My Posts.

I agree with the other suggestions entirely.

I see your point. It may be more work, but then can they have a feature where all of the previous names of the member are visible in their profile?

Like "changed member ID from abc to xyz on date... And changed user name from xyz to LMN on blank date". So there is a way to keep track.

Agreed to all that Harshu suggested.

I stop pm-ing because I have almost 650 friends.. and it's a pain to sit and pm 20 at a time every time I make a post.

A few writers I know, and even I, have moved to blogs instead because of this issue!

As for NOCOPY, sometimes the tag itself doesn't work for me.

Reply to all that DKS suggested is a wonderful idea.

And Mehak's suggestion of profile visibility .. yes please!!!

Harshu I really hope all your points are taken under consideration, ASAP.

Especially having to click every member till 20 to send a PM is time consuming and ridiculous. We should have an option of grouping members like you mentioned.

Point 4 is very important aswell. Why do we have to wait for a WHOLE year to change our usernames? A break of 3 months sounds far better!

The ideas put up here are brilliant esp the copy right one...

FF forum can also have plagiarism detecting software. Its much in use in publishing industry and our authors and forum are more like online publishing houses!!!

I certainly agree and emphasis on the fifth point stalking is very much taking place here and i cannot think of how people come to private chat clubs from our profile...please remove that access to the posts made...at least in such way that we choose which buddies can view our posts...all need not have buddies who think alike...

Totally agree wth u Harshu...
the PM thing is a must...but Ahaana told me sometime back that they r still working on this PM feature...
as I asked about Goldies n above members using this feature if spamming needs to be controlled as newbies can misuse and send bulk PMs..
