Jammy,Indian or American, use of an abusive word is an abuse no matter how you interpret it.In India when we call our foes as ass,we arn't exactly complimenting him. It's an abuse, whole and sole, maybe of a lesser degree in India and a greater degree in Us or elsewhere.

And the one who is getting abused is never really in a mood to weigh the greater one or lesser one.

Minnie.... I agree that any word which is "really offensive" to any one part of the world should not be used..... But if you see it fairly you will find out that all the Purab fans use ASS for Armaan Suri Sir.... And they always refer to Armaan suri as ASS and not Armaan suri's ass.......

But then decide yourself that this kind of use of bum or butt is good or not....

Surnita had written in some of her posts (and I am taking pains here to find the messages for this explaination....)

"I was trying to sniff Armaan but my hand slipped and I accidently scratched Purabs butt."

"As for Jassis reactions - shes a two faced ***** tomorrow she will be licking Armaans bum again."

The first one is still ok, but the second one is directly a sexual reference, if we members allow these kinds of posts now, then I am sure it will not take any time to make this forum a pornographic one.....

Why does any of us need to refere to anyone's (member or character) body part to proove one's point???? Minnie since you have kids, let me ask you, when you are surfing on the forum and your older kid, if he/she can read, comes and stands by you, would you like him/her to read the above stuff???? I surely won't like that.......

And yes I personally think all the ASS references were really not as sexual or crude as the above language is. I will definitely not visit this forum if it looses it's decency. period.

Look,

I just wanted to make it clear that I meant ASS as of donkey, And not Arse as surnita meant.

Also now that its clear that I called Armaan donkey, Dont people call Purab chipkoo?? Pink hair??, Two shoes!! And what not?

Are those abuse any lesser?

As a matter of fact, people sometime get personal. I dont deny I haven't done that, but it was always as a counter when somebody attacked me first with personal comments.

Anyways I wont be calling Armaan that anymore. Hope that should help clear some Tension in Atmosphere.

Jammy.

mani if you look at the meaning of both the words it means the same and I really find P fans justification that they refer to the A word to call Armaan Sir Suri as really childish no offense meant. even ur justification of meaning it as a donkey can be taken as offensive. so isn't it best to avoid just multiple meaning words. I know P fans will not agree with this.

i agree offensive language shld be avoided on a forum like this. but if its ok to use the A word whatever justification you might come up with then B word shld also be not a issue. If B word is a problem then A word is too. and that's fair enough. sometimes it does get out of hand but that shld be avoided, moderators are there to take care of it and i totally agree with it.

Thank you lovely - at least someone is talking sense. And Manimau and who ever started this forum, next time instead of posting it for the world to see, please send me a private message or one of the moderators one and be a bit more adult about it!

ok I think I have read enough on this matter. I think we sit here and keep this discussion going on for ages like this but that is not what we want to do, do we? So, lets all refrain from using such words to which other feel offended and lets not start off as Armaan fans and Purab fans... please ...Armaans and Purabs will come and go with every new serial but we all want to be here to discuss the Armaans and Purab's of tomorrow also... So please let's make that effort... I am sure we all can survive this.. 😉
