TOO many pop ads

There are freaking TOO many pop-UP ADs on this site. It's terribly annoying. Can you PLEASE do something about it? Almost every freaking thing we click there's a pop up AD..

I hope these pop-ups aren't dangerous. I woudn't want my laptop to get infected with some stupid virus!

Do you use Internet Explorer?

I use Mozilla Firefox and have installed the Ad-Block add-on...it gets rid of all the advertisements and pop-ups on this site

If you use Google Chrome, there is a similar Ad-Block extension available as well. I don't think Internet Explorer has anything of the sort yet

And as I've learned the hard way, even the seemingly benign popups and ads can be bad for your computer...so be careful what you click😊

I use explorer. I have somehow managed to block the popups, but this is providing to be hard because now my PM/Buddy list alerts don't pop up & even on sites like twitter and all, if I want to click an external link it wont open.

Why can't the admins of IF do anything about the high number of pop up ADs? 😕

The ads provide advertising money...even so I thought the administrators were looking into it😕

For now, your best bet would be to use a browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and using their add-on extensions...I have no ads or pop-ups whatsoever with mine
