Posts inaccessible on deactivation

Y do d posts get lost on deactivation of an account? I mean y is it not possible 2 read d actual text of d post?

I'm unable 2 grasp d logic behind such policy.

This treatment creates probs in case d accountholder has written fanfics or any creative stuff as their posts can no longer b read.

If im rite that only posts can only not be read if member is banned coz red banned message appears on all there posts
If a member asks for account deactivation there posts are still visible i think im not 100% sure thoh

Even if he/she has been banned, then also only d posts which violate d rules should only b inaccessible.

P.S. I read in some posts that on deactivation d posts become inaccessible.

P.S 2 Same happened 2 one of my fav writer who I don't think would have been banned.

The reason why he/she got banned coz that means all posts are not accessible

If its only posts that violate IF COC then it wud mean mods wud have to search thru all users posts that would take too long

As far as I know even if someone requests for a deactivation of ones account on IF , the banned message is displayed in all the posts of that person . Whether banned or deactivated the previous posts should continue to exist unless there was something objectionable in it. But that is not the practice here !

I have noticed that if you click on "quote" at the right corner of the invisible post you may be able to read some of the posts unless that topic had been locked. That may help you to read ur fav FF 😊
