Heya!

I-F is being strangely slow today... I thought it was just my Internet connection at first, but I asked a few other friends and they're all having the same problem.

I just thought I should let whoever deals with this know 😛

Same with me.. I thought it was my net only.... it hangs sometimes too... other sites are fine.. it's just I-F..

There might be momentarily slow down as we are optimizing the database.

At my end its doing fine though.

Its not happening just today, its happening with me for some days now !!! Even while scrolling the page, it scrolls down very slowly. It was not like that earlier. And sometimes the site works fast and sometimes very slow. Like sometimes I have to wait for 2-3 seconds after i click a link , its only after 2-3 seconds that the link request is processed !!! I hope it has improved now though !!!

A couple days ago, IF was very slow for me. I couldn't get to a new page as fast as it usually takes me there.

Today it seems to be working fine on my end though.

Let me share some interesting tip on how to improve your Internet speed as with many ISPs especially in India I noticed that many times it the DNS that takes time to resolve the domain IP and that makes it slow.

I have been using it for the past 1 month at all the places and it has been working great for me and has really improved the surfing speed.

And for this Google has started Public DNS service:

Change your DNS to the following:

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

PLEASE NOTE: Before proceeding make sure you do note your current settings in case you need to revert back.

Do let me know your feedback on using the same.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same problem. Thought it was my internet connection at first, but I saw this topic and knew that I'm not the only one. The page scrolls down REALLY slowly. Can something be done about this ?
