As for the pic, I am waiting😊

But this time the photos slipped Dipika's hand not because she couldn't bear them but because she couldn't bear the contents of the photographs….

She sat down fully trying to observe the shock that had just hit her… 😲 Not convinced she once again picked the photographs and went through them…. On an impulse she took out the album from the suitcase and went through them…

After turning five pages in the album her worst fears were confirmed… Automatically she went through the remaining album…. 😕

Closing the album she sat in stunned silence thinking about what she had just seen….

Was it good or bad for someone? But what she knew was it was bad for her! 😭

Just then a lady came in mumbling....

Lady: Aate hain to theek se sambhaalke check nahi kar sakte.... Sab bikheer diya, ab kya unke office se aake...

The lady stopped her tirade seeing Dipika in the room and frowned... Dipika slowly looked up at her still not out the shock... 😳

The lady came up to her and asked....

Lady: Ab tumhe kya chahiye? Yahan sab to check kar diya un logon ne.. To(Just then her eyes fell on the photographs on Dipika's lap and the suitcase) Ye... Ise kyun bahar nikala tumne? 😡

Angry the lady grabbed the photographs and started to assemble things in the suitcase... She was about to close it when she saw that Dipika was still holding one photograps... The lady tried taking it from her, but Dipika was holding on to it strong without her realising it! 😔

The lady then looked at Dipika's face and saw that she was not well... She looked shocked... 🤔

Slowly looking at the photograph and then up at the lady Dipika asked in a dull subdued voice, weighted...

Dipika: Ji is photograph me jo hai, vo koun hai? 😒

Dipika asked the question automatically even though she knew the answer for it!

The lady too now sat down fully on the floor and taking the photograph from Dipika smoothed her hand over it... Then with tears in her voice she said sadly...

Lady: Mera beta... Vidhyant! Bahut hi seedha saadha, bhola tha... 😭

Dipika: Ji... Aap Mrs. Vindya Sameer Chopra hain? ❓

The lady just nodded and Dipika felt that nod shook her world even more!

Composing herself she asked...

Dipika: Aapne kaha 'tha'! Matlab aapka beta!?!

Dipika noticed that tears had started to flow down Mrs.Chopra's cheeks... Not knowing why but automatically she wiped the tears of her cheeks...

Surprised by the gesture Mrs.Chopra looked at Dipika and said.... 😔

Mrs.Chopra: Haan... Vo ab humare saath nahi reheta.... Mera beta Vidhyant tab college pad raha tha... Use ek ladki se pyaar ho gaya, lekin uske pita ko vo middle class ladki achchi nahi lagi... Zabardasti uski shaadi kisi aur se karne ka faisla kar diya unhone, isliye Vidhyant ghar chodkar chala gaya.... Cheh saal ho gaye! Pata nahi kahan hoga mera beta... Kaisa hai...

Saying Mrs.Chopra hugged the photograph and started to whimper... Dipika just put her hand on Mrs.Chopra's shoulder... She didn't know what to say! 😭

Something squeezed in Dipika's heart... First time in months tears flowed down her cheeks and she didn't take any effort to wipe it away... She let it flow! 😭

She thought about whether to tell her or not..... But before she could decide on anything! 😵

Francis: Dipika!

Dipika hastily removed her hand from Mrs.Chopra's shoulder and wiped her tears.... Just as she closed the suitcase Francis came in…

Francis: You are still her? Finished checking? ❓

He came and stood near her and extended his hand to help her up…

Dipika slowly got up trying to normalize her breath which had increased its pace seeing the photographs…. 😒

Francis indicated Mrs.Chopra who was still sitting down and raised his eyebrows... Dipika just shook her head and managing a smile said….

Dipika: Ha… Haan…. Bilkul… Noth… Nothing worth our use! 😳

Francis took a look at Dipika and asked concerned…

Francis: Are you alright? Tumhara chehera achanak pheekha kyuun pad gaya? ❓

Dipika shook her head hesistantly and said…

Dipika: Nai bas… Vo…. I am feeling suffocated…. (Looking at him pleading) Francis chalein? I mean yahan ka kaam khatam ho gaya naa? 😔

Francis took hold of Dipika's arms and said….

Francis: You definitely are not okay! (Giving a glance at Mrs.Chopra) Phir bhi… Haan… Hume bhi kuch nahi mila aur IT department waalon ko bhi… So let's go!

They started to leave the room…

Dipika indicated him to wait for a second and went over to Mrs.Chopra who had now got up, smiling feebly she said...

Dipika: Aapka beta jahan bhi hoga, aapko dekh raha hoga! Main chalti hoon...

Francis looked on confused as Dipika left the room, and looking at Mrs.Chopra once followed her....

Just before going out Dipika glanced back at the suitcase, at Mrs.Chopra who was looking at her puzzled and how much Dipika wished she didn't see what she did! 🥺

The casual glance had cost her her life! 🤢

Outside the room Francis asked Dipika....

Francis: Kya baat hai Dipika? You definitely are upset about something.... Who was that lady? 😕

Seemingly not listening to him Dipika was just going on... Shaking his head Francis caught her hand and made her face him... He looked at her closely and saw that her eyes were wet... Angry he asked...

Francis: You cried didn't you? 😡

Dipika just looked up at him answering nothing... She then lowered her eyes and said...

Dipika: Nai to... Bas... Just let's leave! Please!

She started to leave but Francis still held on to her hand....

Francis: (Concerned 😒 ) Tum mujjjhe nahi bataogi ki kya baat hai! (Angry again 😡 ) That lady, she said something didn't she? Just wait...

Francis started to move back to the room when Dipika held his him by his left wrist and said...

Dipika: No... (Looking back at the room) Vo bechari to apne bete khone ka dukh keh rahi thi... (Taking a deep breath) Please... Chalo yahan se!

Francis looked at and saw that she was feeling really uneasy and nodded... Supporting her by the shoulders he led her downstairs...

Just as they went down, the room near the stairs opened... Raghu came out and watched them go with a smirk on his face! 😈


Walking down the stairs Dipika saw the others and took off Francis's hand... Francis understood her gesture and tried to bring back his jovial self....

He automatically said….

Francis: Something is wrong somewhere… Hum galat kaise ho sakte hain? Kuch to…

Just then he glanced down mid way from the stairs and saw a boy talking to Mr.Chopra…. He felt he had seen him somewhere and thoughtful climbed down the stairs… 🤔

The Income Tax department head officer reported to Francis….

Officer: Sir… Everything is clean… We didn't get anything…. Chalein? ❓

Francis nodded looking at Mr.Chopra who was smirking…. 😈

The Head officer instructed his sub ordinate....

Officer: Chalo... Pack up everything... Sign sab le li naa? Okay then... Tell the police securities to open the gate!

While this was all going Francis gave one last glance arond the room.... Shaking his head just as Francis was about to leave the house, he stopped….

Looking at the boy a broad smile lit his face in recognition… Calling out to the head officer who was instructing his sub-ordinates….

Francis: Excuse me officer! (Looking at Mr.Chopra pointedly) Main abhi aaya! 😳

Dipika: (Confused) Francis kya hua? Kahan… ❓

Francis: Ek minute Dipika… Just wait here and don't leave… I'll be back! 😛

Saying Francis went out of the house… The rest of the team and the IT people waited in the house wondering what Francis was upto! 🤔

Mr.Chopra too looked on wondering what had Francis got! 😔

Francis raced out of the Chopra house to the neighbor house where he had seen the boy go when he was driving to the Chopra house and barged in….

He opened the door and entered the hall to find it empty… He looked around and searched the hall checking drawers and all.... He finished the downstairs rooms and went off to the first floor.... Since he knew what he was searching for his search was faster!

He saw a door opposite the stairs and went over to it immediately… He opened it and entered… It was a bed room!

He immediately started searching the room… Just as he was about to open a drawer on the dressing table, he heard a humming sound and looked up… 😳

Before him a girl in towel had just come out of the bathroom… 😳

Seeing Francis she screamed out….

Girl: Help! Help! Chor!!! 😲

Francis strided to her and closed her mouth and said hissing….

Francis: Muh band rakho…. Koi chor vor nai hoon! Aaaaaa!!!!

Francis removed his hand from her mouth and waved it hard….

Francis: (Angrily 😡 ) Ae… Ye kya kiya tumne? Kutta ho kya? Haath kaat di! 😆

The girl had ran to her bed where her clothes were kept and grabbing them draped it on her…. Turning back hands on her hips she glared at him and said… 😡

Girl: Kutta hoti to pata nahi kahan kahan kaat deti… Koun hai tu? Aur ek ladki ke kamre me aane se pehle khatkhatana nahi seekha hya tumne? 😡

Francis just ignored and went to a long wooden bin and opened it….

Francis: Kya hai isme? (Peeping in) ❓

Girl: (Striding over to him) Hmmm… Teri daadi amma! 😉 Oie chilgose… Pooch rahi hoon naa, ki koun ho tum? Yahan kya kar rahe ho? Are are…. Kapde sab bahar kyun phek rahe ho? 😡

Francis had started to throw away the clothes kept in the bin for washing…. Then finally bending down he retrieved a red duffel bag….

Balancing it on the bin top he opened it and pulled out a small plastic bottle…. His face lit like his birthday had come early... 😛

But immediately he straightened his face... 😳

Francis: (Looking at her) To ye sab bhi aap wash karte hain? 😡 Washing liquid hai kya?

The girl took the bottle and said….

Girl: Kya hai ye? Koi naya perfume... 😃

Saying she was about to smell it when Francis snatched it away from her and said angrily... 😡

Francis: Marne ka irada hai kya? Waise bhi nikalo… Chalo mere saath! (Zipping the bag)

Girl: (Stunned) Ji… Kahan? 😲

Francis: Police station…. Drug rakha to kya chod denge hum? ❓

Girl: (Shocked ) Drugs?!?!? Dekhiye… Meri baat suniye… Mujhe such me nahi pata ye yahan kaise aaya! 😒

Francis: (Sternly) Ye sab station me kehenaa... Chalo...

Saying Francis hung the bag over his shoulder and grabbed the girl by her right wrist and started pulling her out of the room....

Shocked the girl said shouting....

Girl: Are are!!!!!!!! Main... Main... Are mere kapde!!!!!!!!! 😲

Francis left her hand immediately and said....

Francis: (Coolly) Oh... Haan... Achcha... Jaldi se kapde peheno, aur chalo humare saath…

Girl: (Getting angry again 😡 ) Tum... (Standing in front of her she said) Ek sorry bhi nahi keh sakte tum? Galti ki naa!!!! Tu....

Francis: (Irritated) Chal chal... Bahut bakbak ki to aise hi bahar kheenchkar le jaoonga.... 😔

The girl looked at him shocked and was about to retort back when.... 😡

"Use kuch nahi pata… Bag maine yahan rakha tha!"

Both the girl and Francis turned to look towards the room door… The boy whom Francis had identified earlier at the Chopra's was standing there with an innocent look on his face….

The girl stomped over to him and hitting him on his head asked angrily….😡

Girl: Are… Ye kya kiya tumne? Kabse tu drugs rakhne laga? 😡

Boy: Didi… Main nahi… Bade pappa ne kaha tha rakhne ke liye!

Girl: (Surprised) Kya!?!?! Uncle ji ne! 😲

Coming over to them Francis asked….

Francis: Iska bade pappa koun hai? ❓

Girl: (Looking at him a little hesitantly she said) Ji… Vo Mr.Sameer Chopra!

Immediately a smile lit Francis's face and happily he said… 😛

Francis: Theek hai… Aapko abhi aana nahi padega… Lekin agar zaroorat ho to hum aapko bulaaenge! (To the boy) Tum mere saath chalo!

Saying he caught the boy's hand and with the duffel bag led him away from the house…

The girl stood glaring at him from her room door… Then hurriedly she went in to change…. 😡

who vidyant?dipika knew this boy?! probably from her college day
is he alive ?!!

and as for francis 😆 he never had any manners!!!
