Case: "Murder of an Inspector in his ex-wife's house"

Victim: ACP Sandeep Shinde

Witness: Mrs. Manisha

Suspect: Mrs. Manisha

Motive: Not Known at the beginning. But later it is revealed that whenever Sandeep and Monty met, Sandeep used to bring girls with him. He then used his wife's bedroom. Manisha had not asked about her father's behaviour to Monty, but when she did once, Monty said about his. Manisha felt very disgusted about it. So in her anger, frustration she could have done it.

Characters:

1. Mr. Sandeep Shinde: Assistant Commssioner of Police, Mumbai. He was found shot dead in his ex-wife Manisha's house.

2.Mrs.Manisha: Doctor,Sandeep's ex-wife. They had obtained a divorce two years ago, but still there were issues between her and her husband about their son Monty's custody.

3. Master Monty: Sandeep and Manisha's son, who lived with his mother after their divorce.

4.Mr.Rohan Malik: Sub-Inspector. Partner of Sandeep.

5.Mr. and Mrs. Shinde: Sandeep's parents.

6.Ms. Deepti Goenka: Daughter of politician Gyan Goenka. Sandeep's fiancee. She was also one of the board of directors of a multiplex, whose ground was under an issue.

7.Mr.Yasaf Khan: Manisha's lawyer.

8.Mr.Gyan Goenka: Ex-minister. He was involved in a land scam, whose case Sandeep and Rohan were investigating.

9.Mr.Sudaa Waala: The owner of the land on which the ex-minister Gyan had built a multiplex, which was now involved in a scam.

10. Commissioner of Police, Mumbai

Killer: Deepti Goenka

Cause Of Death: Gun shot at the temple.

Motive: Deepti's father was an ex-minister. During his time he had manipulated the sale of a land and now a multiplex building stood on it. There was a proof about the illegal dealing, a letter. The scam investigation was handled by ACP Sandeep Shinde and sub-inspector Rohan Malik.

Sandeep had the letter which would convict him. Deepti had seduced Sandeep to get the letter. Eventhough Sandeep was a womenizer he was honest in his work. So he hadn't handed over the letter to Deepti.

Deepti sensing trouble for herself and her father, went to Sandeep's house that day. She found Sandeep unconscious, with a gun nearby. She took the gun and shot him.
