Sudha Chandran was best known for her touching film, Nache Mayuri, before she became one of the most popular vamps on telly. Nache Mayuri told her real life story of how her life as a popular classical dancer changed dramatically when she lost a leg, and how she rose above her tragedy. "Classical dance is different from western dance," she says. "Jhalak is more western. So I have to unlearn a lot of classical dance to adapt to this form." Umashankar Naik is her choreographer partner.
