The episode starts with a whole lot of female guests assembled in the hall of the Bharadwaj House and the house has been decorated like a bride. It turns out that these people have come to initiate the pre-wedding celebrations for Meera. Her future m-i-l is seated along with the Panditji when Alaka (dressed in a pretty biscuit coloured saree) comes with Meera's horoscope and gives it to panditji. At that moment, Ira steps in and hands over another horoscope to Panditji saying that by mistake Alaka Bhabhi has brought Akanksha's horoscope with her. Panditji checks the hosroscope and tells everyone assembled that Meera's stars are in a very favourable position and that the marriage should be held as soon as possible. The Panditji then checks the almanac and tells the future in-laws that there is a very good muhurat the next day. Meera's future mother-in-law tells Alaka that the baraat will come to their doorstep the next day at that time. Later, Ira tells Suli that the plan that she has formulated this time will not go awry at all.
Next day, Alaka goes to Meera's room and finds her dressed as a bride, looking very beautiful and blesses her. Meera's Nanima then comes and they think about what the Guruji had told Meera about the hardships she would have to endure once she had taken an important decision (i.e. getting married to somebody else to see Shan and Alaka settled, my hunch cos I hadn't watched it for 2 weeks nearly)
A short time later, the groom and other family members arrive. Ira and Suli go to get Meera from the mandap but they find her coming down, escorted by Shlok. The two insult Shlok an dthey tell Meera how she can give her permission to escort her to the mandap on her wedding day. Ira then calls Akanksha and asks her to take Meera to the mandap.
Once seated beside the groom, Meera sees Abhi standing along with others and remember how she had extracted a promise from him that on the basis of their love, they should now strive to forget thinking about the other. Abhi stands with tears in his eyes as all the rituals are completed.
Alaka is standing with tears of happiness in her eyes when her Mother comes along. She consoles Alaka by saying that all mother's are fools in a sense – cos the moment their daughters are born, all mothers dream of getting her happily settled, but when the moment comes, they start crying wildly. Alaka watches the completion of all the rituals. Once over, Meera comes to meet her Mother. At that moment, Ammaji also comes to console Alaka and bless Meera. Meera seeks forgiveness from Ammaji for all her mistakes and said that she will ensure that she doesn't do anything wrong at her in-laws place so as not to let down Ammaji and her family. Alaka tells Meera that her in-laws place is now her own world and she should take efforts to mingle with all of them and become a part of that family. Akanksha then comes and takes Meera over. Then the vidaai takes place and Meera cries a lot, along with others, barring Ira and Suli.
Meera is ready to enter her in-laws hose and is about to cross the threshold when Meera's m-i-l stops her and tells that she cannot enter the house as Meera.
Note : Friends, I am sorry for not being able to update for about two weeks. My Father is not doing well and hence I had not been watching SS. I will try to be regular now.
