Sorry Friends, couldn't watch SS yesterday. Spoke to one of my freidns today morning. I am posting whatever I have heard from her regarding yesterday's episode.
Ammaji is on an emotional spree and requests Alaka to help her to get Meera married and to force an 'yes' from her in this regard. Alaka is highly confused but Ammaji tells her that whatever Ammaji had done till date was to protect the heritage, honour and tradition of the Bharadwaj family. And she hoped that Alaka would understand her and help her in this matter. She tells Alaka that they will get Meera married to the very guy whose marriage proposal had come for Akanksha.
Alaka is scandalized to hear this but Ammaji reminds her that during the battle of Mahabharata, Lord Krishna had told Arjun that a small lie which is for betterment for all is not at all harmful. Alaka interrupts and tells Ammaji that what she is saying is true but this would also shake Meera's faith in Lord Krishna for ever and she would have to lead a burdensome life. But Ammaji convinces her otherwise and Alaka finally agrees.
Abhi and Meera are on the terrace when Abhi proposes to Meera. However, Meera doesn't answer and say that in Benaras, things don't happen so fast.
Meanwhile, Suli is worried that she will have to hand over the house keys to Alaka after Shan and Alaka's wedding, but Ira tells her that it shall not be the case. She then tells Suli about Ammaji's plan to get Meera married to the guy from Lucknow from whom Akanksha's marriage proposal had come. Suli is initially not happy but Ira explains to her that Aki is pretty young and that they will get hordes of proposals for her. But at this moment, its necessary to get Meera married and out of the house.
Alaka is in her room thinking of how to broach this topic to Meera. Suddenly the vanity case that Shan had presented her falls down from the bed and the lid opens to reveal lots of rose petals, along with a letter. Shan had written the letter to Alaka stating that finally the feelings that they had for each other will not be constrained any more and they will be able to find peace and solace in each other after some time. Alaka cries after reading the letter and then tears it and throws it away. She resolves that the relationship that had bit the dust 20 years earlier would not be allowed to rekindle, at least from her end.
Meera and Ammaji are parying together when Ammaji notices that Meera is looking very happy. Meera tells her that she's happy cos Ammaji had garnted her her wish and also begs forgiveness from Ammaji, if she was at all rude at that period. Ammaji convinces her that that was not the case and that Meera was her beloved grand-daughter (How ironical!) and she was beloved of all other family members too.
Suli is preparing to go to a temple a little far from the Bharadwaj House in order to pray to God that Alaka is able to convince Meera to marry that guy. Ira stops her and tells her that Suli will take 4 hrs to go to that temple and another 4 hrs tro come back, in between a lot may happen. They should actually let Meera go to the temple. Suli calls Meera and asks her to go to the temple. Meera hesistates cause her Mother is not in the house and also she doesn't want to go alone cos of the distance. Abhi volunteers to go with her and Ira grants them permission. After the two of them leave, Ira tells Suli that let the two enjoy their nearness for few more hourse. After that, she will ensure that Meera's life changes irrevocably.
