Meera reads all the poems that Shantanu had dedicated to Alaka and realizes that Shantanu was the one who had brught the colours of love in Alaka's life before she got married to Kumar. She decided that she had to go and stop Shan from leaving Benaras.
She hurries down the stairs when she meets Abhi who tells her that Shan Uncle had already left. Meera asks him as to where he had gone since it was very necessary for her to speak to him before he leaves Benaras. At that time, Gauri comes and tells Meera that her Father had gone to the bus stop and his bus was scheduled to leave Benaras at 3 o'clock. Since there was not much time left, Meera hurries to the bus stop but finds that the bus has already left. She breaks down crying and sits down on the ground. At that moment, Abhi again comes to her and tells her that both Gauri and he had lied to her, in fact Shan Uncle was still in Benaras.
Meera then hurries towards the Kuldevi Mandir where Shan had gone to offer his prayers before leaving Benaras. He begs for forgiveness from God that he had uttered a number of wrong things but what he said was what he felt. Meera reaches the temple and as she is climbing the stairs, she finds that Shan had already finished his Puja and was coming out of the temple. Meera stands at one side of the temple and observes Shan who now has a wistful expression on his face. Meera thinks that maybe Shan Uncle had brought Alaka to the temple in the past to pray together for their happy future. When Shan reaches the last step and crosses Meera, She follows him and stops him. She tells Shan that she knows the reason why Shan Uncle doesn't want to stay in the Bharadwaj House and that he cannot see people behaving with Alaka so harshly. Shan tells her that it was indeed the case. Meera then tells him that she had come to fetch him back to the house since her Mother so desires.
Meera, Abhi and Shan returns back to the house. Meera calls everybody to the hall to welcome Shantanu. Ammaji, Ira, Yash and others are very happy to have him back with them. Alaka also comes down and is surprised to see him. Meera notices the glances shared by Shan and Alaka. After the aarti is over, Shantanu walks towards Alaka and stands in front of her. Alaka's eyes brim with tears, Shantanu them moves closer towards her and embraces her. Alaka returns the hug too. HAILA.
Ok, it turns out that Meera is dreaming while still standing on the threshold. The others are all seated in the living room. Ammaji calls Meera and asks her to come and seat with her. When Meera goes to her, Ammaji blesses her and also thanks Meera for getting Shan back to the house, for the second time. She asks Meera to ask for anything and promises that she will fulfil her wish. Meera thanks Ammaji and tells her that she will ask for her gift when the time is right.
Alaka is praying to God and doing the aarti when Shan comes to the Puja place and waits for her to finish her Puja. Alaka truns and finds Shan standing behind her. Shan tells her that he had almost left Benaras had it not been Alaka's request to him to stay back. Alaka is shocked to hear this and the Puja thali containing the diya falls from her hand. She asks Shan not to lie in front of God to which Shan replies that Meera had told him so.
At that moment, Shlok comes with the bag that Shan Uncle had left behind. Shan rummages through the contents and remarks that some of his papers are missing. Shlok informs him that those papers were with Meera. Lightning strikes Shan who tells Alaka, after Shlok leaves, that the papers were the ones he had torn off his diary to hide them, the papers in which he had written poems dedicated to Alaka. It means that Meera has now come to know about their past. Both Shan and Alaka are completely zapped.
