So yes Sony can have better ratings with their new shows more digitally as it is the urban audience watching those shows.

@aditi sleek finite series are the need of the time. I still remember those 52 episodes DD shows. It was so good. Even the long shows before the time of EK Maiya was good. There was this Kyunki Saas in hindi and another tamasha called Sthree in Malayalam, from there started the tear jerkers in TV and many of us ran away from it.

In between there were some good shows like Kutumb Season 1, Kundali, Kanyadan( all Sony Shows) and there was one Kumkum Pyaara sa bandhan, only show of those times that kept the sancity of marriage.
