Yaa understood aditi. In hindi somehow the TRPs for hatke shows are dismal. Yes EHT was a thriller and people didnt had the patience, but EHT closed as the slot topper. When Durga married TRP aunties were happy it seems😆😆. I had always felt that middle 8 week track if they had made it 4 or 5 weeks the show would have lasted for 1 year. TRP aunties wanted sanskaari bahu, not a girl fighting for justice. EHT with that marriage actually satisfied both the worlds. Durga was sanskaari bahu of suchitra, but neverthless she continues her fight plotting and planning to satisfy the audience who signed up for its unique story😃
Then in Everest forum we used to joke, that instead of Anjali climbing the mountain to ful fill her father's wish, if it was a challenge to her from her mother in law if she had to agree for Anjali's marriage with her son, TRP aunties would have come 😆😆
See a skewed idea of love and marriage is being fed to the masses and they are consuming it. Secondly there is a fear psychosis that our culture is going. If you look during my times most of us when we got job our families told let her work for a year and then marriage. Most of us married in the age group of 25-27, with some even in the range of 28-30.
But if you look now girls are being married at 22-23 and even at 18and boys at 23-25 fearing if they dont do it then inter caste marriage will happen
These people go end up in divorce or create much more problem as they are not mature to handle the responsibilities related to marriage
This is a very troubled time I would say. On one side we are looking at new oppourtunities, new thought process to have a balanced life, other side in fear people are pulling out all regressive practices which even the younger generation thinks is the right way.
