@aditi as far as I know Sahdeva knew past, present and future. He knew what all will happen but then he was asked not to speak and answer only to the question. That's why in MB Sahadeva is shown the most silent. He is the observer.

Yes Narayan in both avatars wanted to show society what will happen to the society that disrespects women. That is the dharma or knowledge he wanted to impart across generations. But then we need to know knowledge is not free. You have to earn it. You have to pass his test to understand the knowledge the right way. Because he has to be sure you wont use the knowledge for wrong purpose. That's why knowledge is only for the seeker. You have to seek it. You have to bow down before it. You have to accept you only know drop of an ocean.

We also need to know he is for co existence not for ultra feminism also 😃, because co existence is needed for sustenance of life and it is Narayan's duty to sustain life on this earth.
