Newbie Ankita Pandey to play Vishkanya in Prithvi Vallabh

After launching a mega budget show Porus, Sony TV gears up for the launch of its next magnum opus saga, Prithvi Vallabh (Anirudh Pathak).

The show is already garnering eyeballs with its promos and the show boasts of a stellar cast. However, we now hear that the latest to join the cast is newbie, Ankita Pandey.

Ankita is all set to make her TV debut with Prithvi Vallabh where she will be seen in a key role. Earlier she has done a lot of theatre plays.

Our source informs us that, Ankita has been roped in to play the role of Tamsi, who is a Vishkanya. She will be a right hand of Princess Mrinal (Sonarika Bhadoria). Her character will be very positive and loyal.

Ankita confirmed the news to TellyChakkar.

Sony TV's Prithvi Vallabh gets its on-air date

Sony TV gears up for a big start of the New Year with its much awaited magnum opus Prithvi Vallabh (Anirudh Pathak).

The promos of the show have hit the screens from quite a long time and the upcoming saga has already become a talk of the town with its larger than life appearance and stellar cast.

The show features Ashish Sharma and Sonarika Bhadoria in the lead roles whereas Swati Rajput, Surendra Pal, Shalini Kapoor Sagar, Ankkush Bali, Sunil Palwal, Alefia Kapadia, Sheezan Khan among many others have joined them to play key roles.

There have been a lot of speculations about the on-air of the show and it has been getting delayed from quite some time.

TellyChakkar has learnt that the show will go on air in the month of January.

Our source informs us, Prithvi Vallabh is expected to hit the screens on the 20 January and it will take the time slot of The Drama Company.
When we contacted producer Anirudh Pathak, he remained unavailable for comments.

Ishita feels great to join 'Prithvi Vallabh'

Actress Ishita Ganguly, who played Kashibai in "Peshwa Bajirao", says it feels great to be part of the historical show "Prithvi Vallabh".

She has started shooting for her part and has done a lot of research to do complete justice to her character. Since it's a historical show, she has put in a lot of effort to perfect her diction.

"It's a great feeling to be associated with the historical show 'Prithvi Vallabh'. I am playing an important character in the show. I am sure people will not only love each and every character but will also be engrossed with the concept of the show," Ishita said in a statement..

"Prithvi Vallabh" will soon premiere on Sony Entertainment Television.

Narendra Jha in Sony TV's Prithvi Vallabh

Ace actor Narendra Jha who is riding big on his towering personality and acting prowess on the big screen will be part of Sony TV's mammoth presentation, Prithvi Vallabh, produced by Writers' Galaxy.

Jha who has been part of successful big screen projects like Haider, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, Ghayal Once Again, Mohenjo Daro, Shorgul, Raees, Kaabil will play a crucial cameo role in the upcoming show.

When contacted, Jha confirmed the news that he has shot for a brief cameo in Prithvi Vallabh.
