@Sanju if you ask me election of Trump exposed the hypocrisy of America. Whatever they were telling other countries their own people showed it existed in their society

Obama came and gave lecture on intolerance in India. Now America has chosen the man who ran his campaign based on racism and islamophobia for their highest office.

Our Prime Minister tells Beti bachao, beti padao in every speech of his. Our government has given benefit like extended maternity leave, mandatory position for woman in corporate boards, facility like day care near offices for lady employees. A bold move in Supreme Court opposing triple talaq which shows gender inequality. And what has America done. The society which says their woman are liberated have given the man who boasted that he has grappled woman's private parts the mandate for becoming their President.

So what does that tell about them. Yes they might be better than us as far as physical infrastructure, material wealth goes. But the mentality there is as good as ours. We atleast accept we have so many flaws. Ours is patriatichial society. What about them. They tell all the nice nice things. But is it really so. Trump is the answer of what American society really is and what it wants.

What's your take on our pm's decision yesterday? The scrapping of notes. I have been following it diligently since yesterday. It interested me so much😳. Would love to know your take

@Sanju coming to PM Narendra Modi it is a long story. I don't know whether you have read about Ashwin Sanghi's book " Chanakya Chant". I read this book I guess in 2012. And if you ask me I have been following this Modi for long say from the time US Visa was denied to him and our media hailed it, celebrated it.

Somewhere my instinct told he is not what the media tells him to be. He is something else. Haunted by media for everything he did, the media who couldn't talk about 1984 sik riots, Bhopal gas tragedy, 1992 Babri Masjid and the bomb blasts that happened post that, not even the train carnage in Godhra that led to Gujrat riots was going behind this man madly.

I felt he had a potential, else why you waste your time pursuing him. If you ask my colleagues I predicted a BJP victory for 2014 with Modi as PM which many felt impossible . Question was who will vote. Kerala and all will not vote. I said Kerala doesn't matter. What is the sentiment in North India will decide it. You know my analysis right 😆😆. With newspaper reports, connecting things that seemed not at all connected I waited. What a massive result it was in 2014 far far better than what even I thought. Such a huge majority. It was like the book Chanakya Chant playing in front of me.

Then came Bihar elections and Delhi elections where BJP lost and question was on Rajya Sabha seat. I was smiling then also. I said Rajya Sabha seat is not what he is looking at. I don't know what is happening, but he doesn't care about battle, he is going to win war.😆😆. I was waiting to see what he is doing. What will be that masterstroke. When will Maya lift 😆😆

If you ask me first level I got in Sep 28 when the surgical strike across LOC happened. Next funda was Triple talaq and government's stand in Supreme Court. Yesterday, it was simple master stroke. Before anybody could breathe 500 and 1000 just became paper.

He is playing with the operator, not with the numbers. 😆, that much I have understood. He knows to hit very well. And if you ask me I am waiting for the next strike with some idea of what it could be, but then he can always surprise.

I am not a fan of Namo, but he intrigues the analyst in me 😆😆. He is my Arjun, don't know who his Krishna is. Many say it is Amit Shah. But I don't think it is only him, there are of course more people.

Also I haven't seen this angle, journalists were reporting every nuances about him. They had a vision.

Whoever is the Krishna for this arjun, he is guiding India towards brightness😃

Hei guys you are discussing and am unable to come. Exams. I so want to come but study is imp also.

Btw am also surprised to see US voting results. What the hell they did ? They did the exact opposite thing. Its like pointing the wrong but supporting it instead of correcting that. Even I expected Hilary will be the next one of the reason was Obama itself, he suported her and as much as I know US people admire him so much.

And Modi. My mother is big fan of him. He is balanced person in every way. He knows how to win emotions and how to use power. My friend from Kerala about whom I said before is a muslim and they want to trust Modi but because of some issue they could not. Whenever we discuss about him she asks me he is doing all well but he has to clear many things to win over their heart. I always say her that look Modi is a member of party yes he is PM but he can not do anything without the party's support and he has to do many things for country so he can not say to any of his party members. There is lot to discuss on this topic as this is very sensitive topic in India.

RSS always says Ram Rajya ki sthapna but I think they don't know what is the actual meaning of Ram Rajya. Its hot topic I fear we should not discuss it here.

@jeena RSS is not at all a discussion topic and I have no interest in taking an ideology and discussing it . I have only taken Modi's general reforms not his political agenda and I dont want to discuss it either. Trump I had expected. Clearly expected. Hillary didnt had it in her to be frank as much as I understood the time of the elections.

@Sanju Thani Oruvan I have watched it. Brilliant movie. But more than Jeyam Ravi,movie belonged Aravind Swami

Yes better but as I had too keep my legs straight there is stiffness now. So I am unable to to bend my knee. Doctor said to do knee exercise and all so hope for the best. What else can I do ?😭

And Shruti di I already said that it is very sensitive topic and people have different pov but as you say we should not discuss it here as this thread is for SKR only.
