@Mano I told naa this banishment will be explained. Shiv tells Ram's role was to establish maryada, Kal tells he has established new maryada.

If it was told during BP the purpose is new maryada the funda would have gone. 😃

Shruthi Excellent analysis. When I was watching the episode the refrain 'the final justice ' kept running through my mind. Hari could not leave any loose threads before his leaving the physical form.I have always felt that Lakshman could not understand the depth of a woman's feelings, whether it was the love or surrender of Urmila or Sita's love for Ram. Even when he left Sita in the forest, he was feeling his brother's pain and also his own immense guilt, but he did not realize the depth of pain and helplessness of Sita at Ram's betrayal. None of them did for if they had done so they would not have expected Sita to forgive Ram and come back to Ayodhya. Today Hari the master player engineered the situation in such away that Lakshman understood both the pain and the feeling She would have felt at that moment. From this begins his repentance and the road to justice.

Woww Shruti di and Aditi beautiful analysis. I have nothing more to say. I got the ans while watching the epi but did not think that act of banishing Laxman could be a symbol of sending sanskriti from Ayodhya.

Shruti di u said Ram changed the rule of raghukul, yes he did most of it but did bachan palan reet change ? I mean to say that did Ram change that reet also ? Or it is also a symbol and to teach us to never give bachan without thinking of the consequence ?

And another question, everyone got punished because of their sins even Bharat,Shatrughna. Was Sita's rejection and Lxman's banishment punishment for Ram ji ?That means Narayan did not leave anyone even himself.

@Savitha Lakshman couldn't understand the extend his bhabi has gone for his bhaiyya. How much personal pain Sita took to give Ram everything he wants. Name, fame, wealth, power everything both in material space and emotional space she gave him. She stood by him in the toughest times. She never really left him. Because he never left her. Ram always chose Prakriti over Sanskriti. For Vanvas he bowed down to his mother than listen to his father. He crossed the ocean for his wife and he took the blame to vindicate his wife.

But when Sanskriti is chosen at the time of moral conflicts, Sanskriti will leave you brutally when it feels your need is over. you can no longer contribute to its welfare. That's why banishment happens from Ram. The man for whom Lakshman has dedicated his life tells he no longer is his brother. It's Hari's message don't trust Sanskriti blindly always chose Prakriti in Prakriti vs Sanskriti and he will be there to defend you

@jeena we will have to wait to see whether they will show vachanpalan changes or it will be symbolic. 2 more epi is there right. Coming to Ram's punishment. No it is not Ram's punishment or anything. As Mahadev says in human avatar Hari faces all the tough situations a human can face. He gets tough choice everytime to go with Moh Maya or stick to dharma. With each choice he is showing the world a man can rise above Moh Maya if he makes effort. Please note in SKR whenever Ram is in dilemma he doesn't take decisions just like that. He consults, observes and then come to conclusion. Yesterday also when faced with Dharmsankat he doesn't take decision. He asks guidance from learned men. Because he is not Hari. He is Dasrath Nandan Ram.

That is what Yudhi doesn't do in infamous hall of dice. When he faced Dharmasankat he doesn't ask direction, instead take decision himself which creates the mess

Ram since day1 has been talking about balance in society, gender equality etc.. and he practiced what he preached... if he killed Tadka, he killed Ravan as well. If he banished Sita who was pure in mind and body, but impure in reputation, he banished Lakshman as well, who was not guilty, yet guilty... if he gave a latent justice to Sita, he did the same with Lakshman as well.. If he did Sita's parityaag, he accepted the blame she puts on him n allows her to reject him...

Then why is he just talked about for exiling Sita ? Whenever a Ramayana is formed, why is Sita AP, exile, BP track stretched like a rubber band, but Laku parityaag track is finished in 1 or even half episode?

Where's the fault? In the epic, or the way we read or present the epic?

Be it vali vadh, AP, exile, BP, Laxman exile

if u ask questions, the reply u will get is

he is God, God can't be wrong, u can't question God

I mean I accept that God can't be wrong and there must be a reason

But explain it to me

Atleast I am no God, I am a mere human

who needs to know the answers,

so I could understand, trust and try to follow

Instead if u brush it under carpet

then trust and faith is at stake

Mostly when epics are presented in visual medium

they just rush it through these controversial part

SKR was diff

see the amount of focus and care on those controversial parts

we might not have liked few things in the whole of SKR

but have to agree that they treated all these "questioned" parts elaborately

they didn't run away from questions

that's what has made us connect more

Yes Mano I very much liked the fact that the detailed out UK very much. AP and Bali Vadh also was given adequate focus.

Even Surpi chasing Ram and killing of Tadaka it was explained. I also liked the fact that SKRs Kaikeyi was grey not black and Dasrath all white poor king.
