For me, the Tulabharam is the Leela of the Lord. Satyabhama had no ego or pride. She was after all, that form of Mahalakshmi who bears the Earth and all it's problems on her. My point here is that Shri Krishna made this drama so that humanity learns that devotion is higher than material wealth. Bhama had all the Divine qualities of Mahalakshmi, and was a form of Her. She had no ego. But for this game of His, Shri Krishna chose Bhama as the one who possessed material wealth, and she played her part. He chose Rukmini for the devotion for Rukmini was kidnapped by Him at her will. In truth, none of His wives had any wrong attribute in them. All forms of Jagan Mata Herself, played the role they had to in Jaganatha's Leela.

Shrutha do you know the difference between you and me. You deal with perfections, I deal with imperfections.
My analysis is always the journey from imperfect to perfect. I treat God also who has come on this earth on this human parameter of imperfection. Then read through his actions, connect through his action why he became God.
Or rather how a human becomes God, which I know is possible if you are willing to take the journey from imperfection to perfection.

I guess so. I don't know which is better.
For me, God is Perfect, and His actions enhance it. For you, His actions make Him God.

Although was able to catch only the first half of the episode, I was struck by the difference between cultured (ayodhya) and non cultured (lanka) society. In ayodhya Sita is first going to be seen as victim and then when sympathy runs its course, they will point fingers at her and then when it is turn to point fingers at themselves for the injustice metted to Sita, they again victimize her. In lanka the main asur kul representatives Vibhishan, Mandodari, Sulochana passively even Vishrava, Kaikasi and Surpnakha they atleast identify Sita as a victim. No double games in that sense.
Sulochana's dialogue - Every woman would be told to follow your footsteps was so bang on. This is what we have reduced Sita to. She is a symbol for all the hardships and all the injustice in the world. No one looks at the way her husband, her brother-in-law, her father fought for her.

I loved Sriram's dialogue - No one needs to provide proof for anything in this world. Wish it were true.

So today the famed AP happened. Interesting point to note today was no one allowed Ram to explain why he told he wont take Sita to Ayodhya. Everyone was jumping to conclusions and lo and behold Surpi did the final honors. Mandodari asked Ram whether he doubts Sita's purity. Ram says affirmatively he doesn't have such doubts. Then comes our dear Surpi who comes and announce how will he take his wife to Ayodhya. Where people will question him on how he has bought a woman who has been in Lanka. Where there is no proof whether she is pure or not.

As expected Sita takes the decision. She comes forward. She says the person standing in front of her is not her Raghunandan but the heir of great Ishkavu lineage. Where Raja Harishchandra for the vachan given in the dream has sacrificed his family. I loved the fact that CVs bought in Harishchandra. Today while I was travelling back in the bus my whole thought was on Harishchandra and Ram. Harishchandra a man who to keep his word pushed his wife and only child to slavery. Or rather for his so called truth or dharma pushed his better half and child to bandhan. Gave them a life that is well you can call literal torture. And Ram who sent away his wife to liberty from the prying eyes and gossiping tongues of Ayodhya. Yes Sita didn't get the royal comfort or the Luv-kush did not had the luxury of being princes. But where they in any bandhan. In the serene ashram of Valmiki Sita gave birth to her twins. In the love and care of sanyasini's there the boys grew. They got education under Valmiki. They grew up like any normal child with all the freedom any normal child would get.

Harishchandra is claimed great, while Ram is questioned over AP and Sita banishment. After watching today's episode we will have to think once again who is great, a man who gave bandhan to his wife to show the world his greatness or the man who took the blame on his head for centuries and allowed his better half to walk ahead of him. Allowed her to take decisions on her own. If you look Dharmaputra does the same mistake. He tries to give bandhan to Panchali. But unlike Taramati, Panchali shrieks and denies the bandhan and Krishna comes for her help.

Today Sulochana told the greatest dialogue. Don't do AP if you did it even after centuries people will take your name and demand AP from woman. Which is happening now. Sita replies for it in an affirmative dialogue. That doing AP is not her helplessness, but it is to show the world her confidence.

Ram says in mind he wanted to protect Sita's pride from waging tongues, that's why he gave her liberty. But Sita doesn't want that charity. She shows the world a woman can protect her honor, pride and purity without a man's help. AP is for her self respect. She doesn't want Ayodhya to take her as Ram's wife or king's wife. She is going there with the right sticking to their rules, proving her purity.

I have told in another past. Bitter past, bitter memories leave a fire inside you. Instead of simply ignoring those incidents, accept them and give a direction to the fire inside you for the right reasons. Past will close on its own. Sita's AP is also like that. She comes through fire unscathed. Anyone who has their motive right can come through fire unscathed.

Another thing I loved was Lakshman's confession. That it is his mistake and she is paying the price. Sita extracts that guilt and confession from her devar. What is the price of his uncontrolled anger.Your uncontrolled anger, unmindful rebellion not only destroys you, but also those around you. So be mindful of these emotions inside you.
