Ravan's guard announces the arrival of the messenger of SriRam Anagdh in court and Ravan smiles. Angadh comes and says Lankesh. I am the son of Bali and came with a message of Sriram that he does not want war and he is giving opportunity to you to return Sita and accept your mistake and ask for Ram to spare your life. Ravan and all gets angry and says had you not been my friend Bali's son I would have beheaded you. Angadh taunts Ravan on his ego and arrogance and says he has come as Ram's messenger and not as son of Bali .Ravan says you are supporting your father's killer Angadh replies he only killed adarma as my father was behind someone else's wife and doing adharma so will be your fate if you do not honorably release Sita his wife. Ravan taunts Angadh and says that Ram can't win the war with an army of monkeys and if he asks me forgiveness then I will spare the mendicants life. All laugh in court. Angadh gets angry and says don't feel so proud that no one can defeat you it is known that however strong a person is he has to die one day and challenges Ravan if anyone in your court can move my leg then on behalf of SriRam I say that we will accept defeat and go away. He then firmly puts his leg on the ground and says jai SriRam and everyone's thrones shake/move as if there is an earthquake and everyone's expression change from amusement to awe. He challenges and instigates all in Ravan's court to come and move his leg. Ravan looks in amusement which slowly changes to anger as one gaint after another come but cant even move Anagdh's leg at all 1^st they try with one hand then both.It is as if it became an unmovable mountain. Angadh then says Ravan I am a simple monkey but my source of inspiration strength faith and trust is Lord Sriram is there anyone here who can move the trust and faith I have in him and move my leg. Meghanath gets irritated and he gets up and comes. Angadh says you have won against Lord Indra can you bear the humiliation if you cant move my leg. Ravan is happy but when Meghanath tries even he is unable to move Angadh's leg. Angadh then taunts Ravan are you going to win the war against SriRam with these people who cant lift my leg Ravan boasts about his strength and comes to lift Angadh's leg who moves his leg and says do not touch my feet touch the feet of SriRam and beg for mercy to forgive your sins and save your life. Ravan gets angry saying he is no coward and rejects peace and announces war against Sriram saying he will show who is brave no one can save Ram and his monkey army from his anger and devastation .Angadh goes.

Sulochana asks Mandodari can no one stop this war.Mandodari says only women will be the losers as all men will die.Sita also on the other hand tells Trijatha because of this unholy war women and children will be losers.

Ram says peace is better than war but Ravan has rejected our proposal and so to establish dharma and honor I am declaring war against the evil and unholy Ravan and all hail SriRam. Ravan tells Meghanath this sanyasi Ram who is an one woman man with the help of all these monkeys and bears wants to defeat me he has reached Lanka with all these army. Ram announces war with the 1^st ray of sun in the morning and Ravan on the other hand asks Meghanath to kill all in Ram's army before sunrise.

Sita is very anxious and when Trijata asks what is the matter she says she feels something bad is going to happen.

Meghanath is getting ready and his soldiers hail him.He inspires them saying all is fair in war and only thing which matters is victory so even if the enemy is sleeping or without weapons kill them after today's war no one should leave this place all should be dead and then he and his army hail Ravan.

Sita is very worried and tells Trijata that she is worried about the outcome of war she asks Trijata to find out what is happening.

During the night Ravans demon's attack the monkeys and kill many some of them go to Hanuman Jambhawant Sugreev and others to tell they have been attacked on the sly by the Rakshas army.Meghanath rains many arrows from the bow and kills many at a time.Meghanath says this is a night of destruction and many will die and no one will leave alive from here.

PRECAP Lakshman shouts at Meghanath and says if you are brave come in front of me and fight.Meghanath send a very powerful arrow and both Ram and Lakshman faint. Sita shouts how can you do such a thing.
