I loved the way Hanuman explained Ram's condition to Sita. Yes hearing her husband's condition Sita was broken. But in truth the wife in her would be assured. Hanuman could have easily told her she need not worry about Ram as the entire Vanar Sena is with him. But this is where we have to understand Hanuman's observation and intelligence.
He was meeting a wife, separated from her husband for a considerable period of time sitting lonely under a tree with the hope he will come. A wife who wanted to know everything about her husband, most importantly how her husband's feelings are towards her in this long separation. Does he still remember her.
We can say Sita had faith. But Hanuman telling her about Ram asking flowers, trees everything in the universe about his Sita assures her. Assures her that she still rules his heart and any wife only wants that. She wants to be the only woman ruling a man's heart. For her it is equivalent to ruling the world. That is the real Shakthi who rules Lord Shiva's heart and thus rules the entire world.
Then he tells people may call Ram anything but to him he is Siya Ram. The beautiful representation of Hanuman's evergreen lines. The society can seperate Ram and Sita but in his heart they will be always together. Ram belongs to Siya. Even present day every woman will want that. Yes a woman can allow " n" number of mother equivalent, sister equivalent, daughter equivalent near her husband, but in true sense she cannot allow a wife equivalent or another wife to occupy a man's heart. Though men has tweaked the rules to suit themselves Ram has proved that if you truly want Shakthi to work constructively for you, you have to belong to one woman. And that is why he is Maryadapurushottam.
