A great episode once again. The screenplay is one of the strongest points in SKR .Three seemingly different conversations but the underlying elements interconnect with the same principles.Today Kaikesi reminded me of Dhritrashtra- both of them can't see beyond their own ambitions for their sons and are unable to take a moment of contemplation to see the emerging picture. This is their blindness which dominates their minds and is therefore not any related to their sight. Instead of checking Ravan's actions kaikesi in spite of her interaction with Sita, spurs him on to his destruction.
The first convo between Trijadha and Sita is one of the most profound I have come across. The distinction between Expectation and Hope is so simply beautifully explained by Sita. She states that circumstances by themselves are not good or bad , but how we react to them defines them as one or other. Expectations give rise to desires and ambitions often resulting in disappointments when they are not met with...whereas hope gives one strength and patience to deal with these situations effectively. She emphasizes that her faith in God and Ram's love is the well from which she derives her strength. She also states that she does not judge people...wow! Trijadha concludes that Sita 's words contain the truth and represents the God's path.
The second convo between Tara and Roma again touches the path of truth and righteousness. Tara's clarity of thought as well as her strong moral fibre is the source of her strength. No wonder she is considered as one of the panch kanyas.
The third is of course the one between an unrepentant Vali and an unapologetic Ram. There is no justification or clarification in his statements to Vali's rising accusations. He states that what he did was render justice to his friend and gives his reasons in a calm but firm voice. He did accept the result of his actions and as a result allows himself to be killed by a hunter in Krishna Avtaar. Hari's sense of fairness is indeed unparalleled.
I really don't know if it was intentional or not by the cvs but Ram's unbound hair symbolized his slight deviation needed to kill Vali. So that action needed that specific highlight .
Till now we have seen Ram as a perfect son, brother ,a loving husband ,a compassionate man and a fearless warrior, but today he emerged as a King who would follow the path of righteous conduct and dispense justice irrespective any personal consequences . I loved seeing that aspect of him as in future this path is going to separate this king from his wife for whom he crossed a mighty ocean ...What an irony!
Thanks Aditi and Janhavi...janhavi what advice are you talking about?
Shirlee welcome back .good to hear from you.

Once again the episode beautifully highlighted Karma. What Bali got was the result of his Karma. And once you get the result which you don't expect what is he doing. He is questioning Ram. He is telling he will die, but Ram will always have the mark of such unethical killing of a warrior. He challenges Ram telling his karma will come for him.
I loved the way Ram answered him. How can he expect Veer Mrithyu when what he has done is adharma. How can he talk about being a warrior and dharma when he had done adharma. It is your last minutes. Understand the adharma you have done. Repent.
When results are not what you expect then you start talking about dharma. Then you start talking about circumstances, traditions to justify your actions. Just like Bali says we are vanars, our rule is different from yours. But does the dharma varies. No Ram tells irrespective of who you are, your duties are same. And looking inappropriately at your brother's wife is adharma in any culture.
Then Bali says you wont escape this karma. Ram calmly says he knows it and he is willing to accept the result. If you stop doing right karma thinking about result, then you will not do right action.
Look at difference of Bali and Ram. Bali when faced with results is angry, blames and accuses and curses.
Ram he owns the action. He calmly tells why he did what he did. He didn't come to fight him directly as per the rule of Rajdharma he will be the king of Kishkinda which he doesn't want. So he supported Sugreeva as his ally as his commander in chief for winning.
And what I liked the most was Bali's question of veer mrithyu. Why he didn't get that. How will you get veer mrithyu if you do adharma. When adharma is done your fall will be also through adharma not like a fighter.
If you look at MB you can clearly see this. If you look Duri and all the sons of gandhari including Shakuni gets veer mrithyu. They die fighting till the last breath. But look at the deaths of Bhishma, Drona and Karna. What do they get. They don't get veer mrithyu. They are hit on the Achilles heel and killed when they don't have weapons. Reason hypocrisy. The so called proclaimers of dharma, supported adharma for their own selfish reasons blaming situations and circumstances.
So it shows even adharmi gets veer mrithyu. Ravan and Meghand gets it. Because they own what they are doing. If you look at Ravan he doesn't blame circumstances, look at Meghnadh he doesn't blame circumstances. They too own their actions. If they have to fight they will fight.
But one who pretends to be dharmi but ends up doing adharma even death wont be easier for them. It was not for Bali, it was not for Dasrath.
So always be in one boat. Dharma or adharma. Be clear on what your principles is. Own your actions. It will be helpful in long run

@ Savita Tara is confusing to me. On one hand she knows her husband is doing wrong and knows that he's on his way to destruction while on the other hand she breaks down when his death is known to her. She loves him which also is something I can't understand. I agree she's his wife but how can she forget that he cheated on her and disregarded her feelings when he takes tara. Loved how u explained abt sitas convo.
@ shruthi amazing analysis.. owning ur actions will help in the long run. Loved how u connect it with MB.

@Ria it is because Tara knows Bali has done Adharma, she ensures their son Angad doesn't follow his father's path and becomes the support of his uncle Sugreeva. She is a wife. Yes she knows he will be punished as a woman. But as a wife we cannot disregard her feelings right. She will cry.

@Savitha good take. Kaikasi lives on desire. Same was Dhritarashra. It was his desire to see his son king and he thought it can be done with manipulating. Kaikasi had wide open eyes. Since she couldn't see the fire that was surrounding Sita. Going near her means destruction. Dhritarashtra his blindness symbolized the inner blindness he had.
And in Ram yesterday I guess you also might have seen Krishna. I loved the line " It is your last moments, think about adharma and repent" it was like Lord was standing there to grant moksha only if he allows him that.

Hmm.. does being wife make her forget his wron doings to her.. y the sadness to him. His death isn't it more like freedom for her from more torture... but I guess this is why the saying ove is blind

Waise does bali also have any previous birth? Or any stories related to him..
