As Far As I know , the primary reason is that there needs to be someone in the house to clean and make up the house after the dead body is taken away , and so that job primarily is given to ladies of house .

Some also say that it is harder for women to bear that much grief at the funeral pyre site , so they dont go , but it is not a compulsion , i have seen many times that women do go to the funeral pyre .

If I really start disliking a show I stop watching nd visiting the forum.. To spend so much tym on a show u don't lyk is not like me 😳😆
